Althoff Hotelsis a Cologne-based company, founded by Thomas H. Althoff and his wife, ElkeDiefenbach-Althoff, in 1984 along with the Hotel Regent International. Through the years, it has expanded and constructeda total of 18 hotels with more than 2,000 rooms located in four countries.

In 2009, Thomas launched a new brand called AMERON,which is made up of ten grand hotelsin Germany and Switzerland. Each of Althoffhotel guarantees the highest standard of quality, individuality, and customer satisfaction, with employees living the philosophy that puts the guests at the center.

Althoff Hotels has three brands, all of which focuses on different aspects but still have one thing in common – uniqueness in the market segment. Their first brand is Althoff Collection, a group of five-star properties comprising of six lavish hotels in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. These include hotels with gourmet kitchens, together with beauty and spa treatments.

Urban Loft is the second brand. It offers accommodations that are designed uniquely and fashionably, especially for businesspeople, families, and young ones who seek high-quality standard. It is also a space that can be used as a working place and a temporary home, with facilities like coffee bars and restaurants.

The last brand is AMERON Hotels. Its properties are adorned with decorations that reflect the region of each of its location. Even the cuisines served are inspired by the area.
