Family-run Sumus Hotels has been in the hospitality business for over fifty years. It is headquartered in Malgrat de Mar in Barcelona, Spain, and was started in 1962 when tourism in the Catalan region first started to take off. Now, the hotel group is known not only for offering comfortable facilities, but also for the professionalism and attentiveness of its team of quality-driven employees.
Sumus Hotels has two properties under its belt: The Sumus Hotel Monteplaya in Malgrat de Mar, and the Sumus Hotel Stella & Spa in Pineda de Mar. Both hotels are located in seaside towns on the coast of Barcelona, along the Mediterranean Sea. The peaceful yet breathtaking surroundings of both hotels have proven popular among adult customers, boasting of a wide range of services as well as leisure activities to ensure guests have an unforgettable stay.

In 2000, both the Sumus Hotel Monteplaya and the Sumus Hotel Stella & Spa were awarded three stars. The year 2015 saw the business creating a corporate branding.
