About Amex Hotels & Resorts Delta
AmEx Fine Hotels and Resorts (FHR) program is an exclusive collection of carefully selected hotels and resorts worldwide. There are more than a thousand properties in the program at present, but the list is updated annually with new properties being added and removed regularly. All properties are extensively vetted before considered to the program.
Majority of the properties in the program can be classified as ‘luxury,’ and hence, in essence, are the finest available in the market based on the following factors: value, amenities, location, services, and price, among others. Guests are therefore assured of top-notch service.
The program is available only to AmEx cardholders of either the ‘Black’ card (the invite-only Centurion Card) or the Platinum Card. They get to enjoy exclusive benefits including room upgrade, daily complimentary breakfast for two that could save you $25 to $50 per person, early check-in and guaranteed early late check-out at 4 p.m., free premium WiFi, and a ‘unique amenity’ with a $100 credit to use on spa, food and drinks. There are also hotels offering a free third or fourth night.
