About Etap Hotels Belfast
Etap Hotel is an international chain rebirthed in 2012 as Ibis Budget Hotel. This series of hotel is owned by the AccorHotels, who has had quite the reputation in making budget hotels like this boom in the international markets. The management has enabled the brand to have over 350 hotels just within Europe. Most of these are located in France where there is an influx of tourists every season. The total number of hotels under the Ibis brand is 603, spread throughout 19 countries not just in Europe but also in the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Caribbean, Africa, and Middle East.
The tally was as of June 30, 2018, and AccorHotels is big on rapid expansions so that number has probably scaled drastically up to this point. The brand is also an active competitor of Holiday Inn Express and Travelodge in Europe and the UK. Since those chains are pretty much like mushrooms appearing everywhere, Ibis is doing well as a recently established brand to be in such position in the markets. In 2011, Etap’s rebranding was a significant reaction to the changing markets and the potential of the hotel chain to scale more into a fully international hospitality name.
