The Golden Tulip Hospitality Group was founded in 1962 in Netherlands with 75 hotels under its belt. Its longevity has been credited to its successful business formulae: the Brand, the Operating System and the Support System. They started creating a brand that resonates their mission and vision: implementing international standards and maintaining local flavors while generating revenues and profits that aimed to expand its global presence. They have established the Operating System wherein they equipped hotels the essential tools and services guaranteeing the return of investments. By 2006, the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group has 512 hotels in 48 countries worldwide. This comprises of nine brands that are owned and managed by four different entities.
