Pros: Very conveniently located in the city center. Rooms are cozy.

Cons: If you are driving you might not want to stay here as hotel has no parking on site and the closest public parking was full.

An enjoyable stay

Pros: I loved that the hotel was so centrally located making it so convenient to go places. The lobby and library was great to hang out while waiting to check in. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff (especially the lady who is originally from the Philipines) were welcoming and super friendly.

Cons: The room was a bit stuffy; we needed to open the windows which overlooked onto the street below and so it was very noisy.

Pros: We had a great family room which was spacious and comfortable . But the bathroom was poor for a 4 star hotel. We were Room 208

Cons: The hot breakfast was cold every morning and other travellers confirmed this had been the case before our stay. Also our bathroom was poor.

Cons: the lighting and half the electrical sockets didn't work. nor did the ventilation in the bathroom. was clearly electrical issues in the room.

We will not stay in...

Pros: The location of the hotel is good.

Cons: The ‘quiet’ room we were given was anything but quiet. The construction work that we experienced in October last year was still going on, with grater intensity. No discount was ever offered for the big inconvenience, neither was ever mentioned about the construction work. If this was not enough, nights were nightmare, as wild youth were screaming outside, throwing bottles, fighting until the early hours of the morning. Surprising, the Police station is not too far away, yet this was a nightly occurrence. The room was too hot, there was no way to keep the temperature down (except to open the window and hear the crazy noise from the street). The bathroom door could not close properly. The towels were threadbare. The breakfast offers were even ‘slimmer’ than a few months earlier. No more Bircher muesli, no more boiled eggs, poor choice of bread.

Cons: Breakfast didn't start until 7am. We were keen to explore and had day trips booked, so we got up very early. If breakfast had started at 6.30, we would have been able to have a more relaxed breakfast or even have breakfast.

Fantastic location and accommodating staff...

Pros: Really appreciated the upgrade to a family room. The common areas of the hotel were beautiful and very clean. There’s a lovely library. Best hotel breakfast! Staff so friendly & accommodating. The location was fantastic.

Cons: I found the mattress in our room needed to be changed. It was very lumpy. Also the bathroom needs to be refreshed. There was mold on the ceiling near the window and peeling paint. In spite of these issues I would rebook this hotel.
