Superb

Pros: Wonderful wonderful stay, cosy and quaint lodge in the heart of a small Shepperton town. It is a great place to experience a taste of English cottage experience! We enjoyed the lake and greenery lush, lovely time

Really good weekend away

Pros: Extremely quiet location, really peaceful. Location was good only 10 minutes drive to Thorpe park. Close to shops for snacks etc.

Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Being woke up at 2 in the morning by guest in the cottage, singing, shouting and playing music so loud with the door open! Spoke to reception at 3 in the morning and offered to swap rooms at 3 in the morning not doable with a child in tow!, so he asked them to turn it down they did but they where still loud ! Loud enough I could tell u what songs they played !, this continued till 4.30 in the morning !! We had a early start and late finish so was not impressed!. Also was never told about them not doing food because of the party booked in not a problem, but would like to have been told when we checked in not at 7.30when we went to try get food. The toilet in the room always hardly flushed and made a dripping sound like a tap was turned on after !. The walls are paper thin too you hear everything we heard what sounded like a yoga teach on loud speaker to a client at 7 in the morning at least I hope that's what it was from the conversation we heard

Very good

Pros: We had the room with the view and it was beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly.

Cons: The bed.. 2 divan beds put together and was not comfortable as the bed kept moving apart slightly.

Ok but not what I was expecting

Pros: I liked the location because it was located with close access to Motorways and with the River right out your window was always nice

Cons: I stayed at the Warren Lodge many times in the 1980s and 90s and I have to say it has not aged well. The Restaurant is nowhere as nice. Church Square had more to offer with the Kings Head, and the Restaurant across the street. Also I told the desk of my faulty Shower and nothing was ever done. Douglas would have been on this the next day

Cons: Some of the service was, um, slightly eccentric. Breakfast was hilarious in its Fawlty Towersness! Truly a site to behold. People queueing out the door, couples placing orders and being forgotten and then being ignored completely once they mentioned it! Parts of orders not arriving and people tidying up themselves. Fantastic it was!

Pros: Quaint property in a pretty location

Cons: Staff were not helpful. Toilet was broken. Doona and pillows were stained.

Never stay there again under the Management which is place currently.

Pros: Ideal location

Cons: Very very tired. We had no hot water on arrival. We were very tired after a long journey from early morning. We went straight to a family party and arrived at the hotel in the evening . We thought we would leave it till the morning as we were so tired and reported it when we came down to breakfast. There was only a student on the desk and he said he had no authority to do anything but gave us the managers email address. I send an email to a Mr Doherty and he replied but saying he would look into it and reply to me within 5 days. I didnt hear from him so sent a chasing email to which I have never received a reply to this day. We had used this Hotel many times and are disgusted with the treatment we received. We certainly will never stay there again although we have lovely family memories there.

A relaxing stay!

Pros: Its run by friendly people as opposed to being an impersonal chain. I felt comfortable and the bed was comfy too! Relax, enjoy the wildlife and boats with a drink on the terrace by the big bend in the river.

Cons: Parking directly outside is in short supply BUT there are other, adequate, parking areas very close.

Pros: Lovely old hotel with good location on the river. Comfortable bed, good breakfast and staff were welcoming and helpful.

Cons: We had a ground-floor room and it was a very hot day, the small fan didn't work properly, it didn't help that the bathroom rad was very hot and couldn't be turned off!

Pros: Nice comfortable room, nice location, the food was good. The building itself was interesting. The hotel had a positive feel.

Cons: Could of been more choice on the menu, but what there was, was good. Would of liked an Irish coffee but they didn't do them.
