OLD HOTEL NEEDS A BIG RENNOVATION AND STAFF TRAINING - WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the center and to the falls and the nationalpark (only a few minutes with the taxi) the stuff is trying to be nice but very difficult to know if they mean it serious or just acting.

Cons: The Restaurant is terrible - the prices are a way too expensive for the qualtiy you get. The quality is cheap cheap but the prices are like a top restaurant! The stuff needs training urgently cause most of them dont have any experience and dont know how to handle guests. Everyday different things happened which shouldnt happen but there is nobody to control them or show them how they should do their job. For Example they are cleaning the restaurant while sitting there having breakfast, they use a terrible cleaning agent which almost kills you, nobody needs this while eating in a restaurant. Staff is not really looking after the guests, the restaurant manager doesnt have any experience of staff training and team managing. The kitchen is using cheapest food for preparing meals which are much overcharged like for example 3 pieces chicken wings without sides they charge 12USD. I had a chat with the hotel manager for more than 30 minutes where i told her all the mistakes i saw and what i recognized so she was very thankful and told me she apprechiate my feedback a lot and they will do their best and bla bla bla - BUT I dont believe she really takes it for serious cause even when we left on the last day there was still nobody coming back to us to offer us maybe a discount or a voucher for a next stay or just anything to sort our issues out or try to make unhappy guetss happy cause i explained them we paid 100% but only recieved maybe 50% from the hotel. The Hotel is okay for a short stay maybe 2-3 days BUT DONT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT - you get much better qualitity and cheaper food at the local restaurants like Three Monkeys or the Victoria Falls Safari Club!

Pros: Have windows open for fresh air before guest goes in. I personally like a well aerated room to get the stuffiness out and idea that someone was sleeping in the room before me

Pros: The hotel is really nice, with great facilities. The rooms were huge with nice bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: They definitely price up all their food, drinks and activities however, it is a touristy area.

Awesome Hotel and people!

Pros: Everything from check in till check out was amazing. The Welcome drink from Nethias, the counter personel, the cleaners, the room attendants, the spacious rooms, the excellent scrumptious breakfast, lunch and dinner, the personel at the swim up bar! Everyone and thing was just awesome. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to all our friends.

Cons: Only one suggestion. In the summer months from Sep till March, The pool must stay open till at least 20h00. When you come back from tours you really want to cool down.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, good sized room. We didn't have washcloths in the bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal. Refrigerator and water pot in the room was nice as well. The concierge was very helpful with our activities!

Pros: The breakfast was good only that the variety was limited for example for the 5 days we stayed they only served beef and pork, if you do not take either you will be at a disadvantage. also for the heritage they should ask their customers what they eat and what they do not eat. we were given pork but yet we do not eat pork.

Cons: The area around the pull had a lot of flies such that it made relaxing around the pull unbearable.

For visiting Victoria Falls an excellent place to stayy for three our days

Pros: Very good serice with free shuttle to all places.

Cons: The swimming pool was realy small.
