Wonderful

A relaxing and comfortable stay in a lovely setting.

Pros: The hotel is secure, safe and relaxing. We love the space and tranquility. Its lovely having nature all round. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the things you need for a self catering holiday. The bar serves a good range of snacks and meals. The location is great for visiting nearby towns, villages and beaches if you have a car.

Pros: Rooms, breakfast

Cons: During winter with kids the indoor pool heating was not working, its was not a fault because it has been off for several days but and not mentioned during the reservation. Sauna not working and old jacuzzi. Room services meals = 2 starts hotel

A really enjoyable stay made special by staff

Pros: The room was very clean & light. Fantastic huge comfy bed with lovely linen. The breakfast is really nice- plenty of choice and pleasant staff on hand. Evening dinner also enjoyable - served by lovely welcoming staff who couldnt do enough to accommodate us. Juan( I think) is a star- really loves his work and everything customer focused . He & his colleagues made us feel special We know that the indoor pool is great but we didnt have time to use it this time . Outdoor pool looks great but too cool in January for us to use. Gardens are beautifully kept. Gardener looked very conscientious. Very peaceful out of season and excellent value at this time of year

Cons: There was a drain smell in the bathroom - same smell outside on the approach to our block of rooms The bath with shower inside was very high and difficult to a get into for someone with a physical disability . It took a while for the room to warm up on arrival but all fine after a while It is a distance from the sea but location is clear on the website . Fine with a car obviously.

Pros: Great resort, wonderful location surrounded by beautiful gardens. Room was spacious and cozy, next to the gym, heated indoor swimming pool and spa. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best. Really enjoyed our stay highly recommend it

Amazing experience, really comfortable and nice people.

Pros: I love the breakfast, It is in a buffet format and they had everything. Also I like to much the people that work there, they were really kind and always they are paying attention of what you need. Also the activities that they had on the gym or the pool were really interesting. My partner and I are really happy with the experience.

Cons: Honestly I like everything. maybe the prices of Olive Tree restorant are a little bit to high, but the food is really tasty there, so in terms of quality and price I think it is ok.

Nice place

Pros: It was not a peak season when we were there so we had the whole area to ourselves. The apartment has a clean look and we did enjoy our short stay there. The room was spacious. We love the garden view and how it is peaceful to hear the birds chirping early in the morning.

Pleasant and interesting

Pros: The bed was very good, the surrounding architecture with lots of plants was beautiful. The room of the restaurant where the breakfast and dinner had been served was lovely, spacious and had a nice view.

Cons: The Spa is a bit small and the only facility functioning was the Turkish bath but with 39C - not effective. To use the pool and whirlpool one has to go to another building, during winter a bit uncomfortable. Like at any other 5 Star Resort there was no fresh, natural orange juice on the breakfast buffet and this in the Algarve which is saturated with such fruits...

Interesting hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff and good location

Pros: Very well maintained room, with lots of space and comfort. very peaceful. Interesting facilities. Good breakfast. Excellent service from all the staff.

Cons: Replacing products during breakfast takes time and it was found that at a certain point during the breakfast period there was not even a replacement. Something to review.
