Our stay at Setai was...

Pros: The staff at Setai impressed us from the moment we arrived. The front desk employees were exceptional, demonstrating attentiveness and genuine warmth that truly enhanced our experience. My husband formed strong connections with the staff and didn't want to leave. We will definitely return to Setai, not just for its stunning beauty, but also for the lasting relationships we built with the staff. Thank you to the entire Setai team for creating such a memorable stay for us.

Pros: The pool staff was attentive

Cons: The over all staffing. Was very poor. I waited 25 minutes every day to get my vehicle. I asked on Wed, Thur and Fri to get my Rolls Royce washed it was finally washed Friday. Onnky one staff member at desk to check out created a line so I had my assistant call to check out. My room was floor 4 and poor view my assistant asked for a new room room was told no. Painting in the common areas while I was there. Overcrowded with people didn’t feel remotely exclusive and very over priced for the room and service

Got ripped off

Cons: They overcharged me $7,700 and when I brought it up they told me it was a standard hold (even though funds already left my account). Then said it would be refunded within approx. 5 business days. It's been 13 and I had to declare Fraud with my bank. Otherwise, facilities are outdated, not very comfortable, and definitely not worth the money.

Not worth the money spent...

Pros: Location was really good, breakfast buffet was excellent and Sunday brunch had a huge offering and really good quality. The concierge team was really helpful as well.

Cons: The hotel is tired and needs a refurbishment ASAP if they want to keep charging what they do. I got a studio overlooking the courtyard which was terrible since there was loud music playing until late almost every night. I’m young and I understand that this might be the case on the weekends but it wasn’t just on the weekend. Service at the pool area is terrible. All staff members are chilling at the entrance kiosk talking to each other and no one is going around the pools to serve the guests. I waited 20’ until I went and fetched someone so that I can order and when my order came I needed some salt and pepper so I wanted an other 15’ until I went and asked for it. Last, is the front office team with which I’ve had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a 5* hotel in my life. Making a long story short super unprofessional and inhospitable. Worst service I’ve ever seen both check in and check out.
