Pros: it was a lovely place to stay, we will be returning next year! it was beautifully decorated with a duck theme! the facilities were nice, clean and refreshing. The hotel and spa are beautiful. we were upgraded to a superior room which was spacious and decorated eloquently. on the coffee table in the bedroom was a note saying our names and happy 5th anniversary with a bag of Brownies for us. the restaurant gave us an anniversary desert too. They went above and beyond to give us a great anniversary and they really didn’t disappoint! the staff were so so friendly. We had a lovely lady called Brooke who served us at reception who started our stay off with a really friendly welcome. My partner and I both had a facial treatment and the beautician was again friendly and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. She was really great! the restaurant staff and pool staff were also equally as nice and welcoming. The spa facilities are fantastic with 3 saunas, an infrared room, steam room and 2 plunge pools. they have a hot tub and a nice big swimming pool. With so many treatments to choose from. We wished we could have stayed for longer. experience was 10/10

Perfect for what we needed

Pros: Staff was just the right level of attentive without being too much. All very friendly The atmosphere in the place was nice and the facilities looked great.

Cons: The mattress on the bed was too bouncy. Every time one of us turned around in the bed, the other person would feel the ripple effect. Didn't have the best nights sleep.

Pros: Wonderful stay. Spa facilities were excellent and the evening meal and breakfast were also very good. Lovely, friendly staff.

Cons: Not a negative as the hotel is undergoing some works due to it being taken over by Warner Leisure. This meant we didn’t have the best view from our room.

Relaxing and enjoyable night away.

Pros: That even though there was building work going on, it didn’t affect our stay and we were able to relax. The spa facilities were great and the food was delicious.

Cons: Building is undergoing a lot of work which was an eye sore! i paid extra from river view could not use balcony, had a lot of works going on so No view.
