Pros: Loved my evening here. Quick and friendly check in, secure area but easy to access once you had the codes and keys, bigger than I expected space in the single bed room for a solo-stay, kettle and tea facilities, soaps, soft towel, quiet and the building has a little quirky up the stairs, down a few others charm to it too.

Cons: Toilet was clean enough but not sparkling - to be expected in a shared bathroom though!

Cons: This is the worst place I have ever stayed, and that’s saying something. Bedroom walls all stained. Dingy musky smelling room. Communal toilet /shower room that was the size of a cupboard, urine on the floor right beside where I’d have to have stepped out the shower. I didn’t shower in this place. The place reminded me of a drug addicts/alcoholic homeless hostel. Awful

OK for a short stay.

Pros: Location. Low price. Staff friendly.

Cons: Single room in need of maintenence. Broken lock. Stained carpet, bed sheets worn out at corners. Fire alarm hanging off wall.

Great characterful place to stay...

Pros: Value for money incredible! Location spot on! Like the land lady said “it is what it is a pub with rooms at a great price” Land Lady and her family were legends! Very friendly and down to earth - looked after me well and showed me where and where not to go My room was basic but it’s all i need a comfy bed to get my head down after a very long day out on the mountain bike, of which they allowed me to lockup in their safe place, car parking great too right behind pub Easy access in/out of halifax eg bud to keighley etc train to hebden bridge etc Highlights of the stay were £4/pint of guinness at the post office itself, Jackie the manager herself, great fun and friendly, The Raikway pub for a “white rat” and chat with the owners, and this Irish bar for watching rugby and a bit of craic great stay overall

Pros: The room was clean and bed and pillows were super comfy. Slept really well. Loved the location. Short 5 minute walk into the town but far enough out so no traffic noise

Cons: Nothing really. Liked the Dropbox to leave keys when checking out.

Pros: The management was lovely. They did not respond to my email about a complaint I made.

Cons: The beds were made well plenty of towels and refreshments. But the floor was dirty and had tissue paper on it. We were kept awake by neighbours shouting and arguing for hours.

Pros: We were very warmly welcomed and helped by the lady on arrival. The disabled facilities were very good.

Cons: When we returned after the theatre the pub was all closed up. I was a little disappointed as I was hoping to have a nightcap. At 7.15 am someone knocked and shouted on the door and window. This was rather concerning especially considering as far as we knew there was no one else at the property.
