About Oberoi Hotels & Resorts Brand Hotels

Oberoi Hotels & Resorts is under the management of The Oberoi Group. The Oberoi Group is a hotel group based in Delhi. It was established in 1934 when RaiBahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, original founder of the group, purchased two properties—the Maidens in Delhi and the Clarke’s in Shimla. These properties were the seeds he planted that eventually led to a full-grown international fruit-bearer. In the following years after he bought the said properties, his two sons assisted him along the operations as the company immediately recognized the potential to expand bot in India and abroad.

One of the most challenging things The Oberoi had to face down that road was the November 26 2008 terrorist attack. It was one of the two hotels that were taken over by terrorist groups during the Mumbai attacks then. It was a sad day for the corporation when 32 staff and guests were killed in total in both locations during the three-day chaos. After mourning their celebrated staff and beloved guests, they bounced back in the industry and is now a company with 69 hotels under the Oberoi Hotels & Resorts brand and another 69 five-star properties under the Trident Hotels brand.

Best hotel, performers and staffs in the world

Pros: I like the biodiversity, the street performance in the hotel and the hospitality from the staffs. Everything is a surprise for me in this hotel. The decor of the restaurant, hotel room with Sita player in the hotel lobby are just beyond all expectations. The staffs who served us are polite and detailed. They put "welcome" in my native language and it was such a heartwarming surprise! The staff also left some small gifts that I will treasure for a long time! I have to mention the puppeteer, Lucky, in the hotel. He was performing along with his cousin with great singing and music, and the most interesting puppet shows I've ever seen. Lucky is a passionate, humorous and talented artist and young man who had brought us a memorable night on September 29. That I you Oberoi Jaipur and I will definitely visit again to your amazing resorts in the world.

Pros: Definitely my number one hotel worldwide. Highest level of perfection. Staff will make you feel at home but also treat you with the same devotion than king and queen. Room was perfect. The swimming pool area is absolutely gorgeous and you will be able to get new friends: peacocks, squirrels, birds, etc. The breakfast is absolutely perfect. But the number one asset of the Oberoi Rajvilas is its staff. You will never be treated this well somewhere else.

Truly exceptional and one of a kind

Pros: Without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed at. What is not to love about this property?! The staff are absolutely wonderful, the grounds are spectacular, and the rooms are huge and exceptionally comfortable. Everything has been thought of. Ive never felt more looked after as a guest. There were so many simple but thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Drinks at the bar, and food, was reasonably priced given the surroundings. Breakfast was truly excellent. There honestly arent enough superlatives to describe our love of this hotel!

Marvellous stay and will definitely stay with the oberoi again next time Im in India .

Pros: Beautiful property, well maintained and good facilities . Room was spacious and well presented . Staff were really polite and went out of their way to help in anything , and they were really prompt. I had dinner and breakfast at hotel for 2 days and it was delicious. Possibly could have had a slightly bigger buffet spread but having said that , it is a smaller hotel and quire exclusive so you arent going to have w massive buffet like these city 5 star hotels.
