    Pros: Staffs are friendly , I like the concept of the room.
    Cons: Too noisy from outside from 4 in the morning. Drunk people, shouting people…it would have been nice to have a room above ground floor. It would be nice to have a desk and refrigerator, tissue box.

    Great place for an affordable...

    Pros: Fantastic location and friendly staff. Very small but comfortable room. The room was ready on our arrival, we checked in really quickly. Initially, we couldn’t open our door but the receptionist was really helpful. The room was clean and had all the basics.
    Cons: The room was very small and located in the attic, so lots of stairs to get up. Wasn’t a problem for us initially but then I sprained my ankle so I did struggle. No aircon which I imagine would be necessary in the summer as those kinds of rooms can get very hot.

    Pros: The location is really good, just a few minutes walk from St Pancras and Kings Cross Station. You can arrive anytime as you get a code to enter the facilities and your room.

    Great choice for my budget...

    Pros: Nice tidy, clean room with everything I needed.
    Cons: I rarely come across UHT milk for drinks these days, would have scored higher for fresh milk. Also, I was travelling with one big checked bag and one small carry on. The small 'desk' was so narrow I couldn't really use it, certainly not to work on.

    Cons: Room was more like a hostel than a hotel. Incredibly small room, dirty sheets, tiny bed, plug sockets that we couldn't use. No lift with very narrow stairs, pancake pillows and my partner couldn't use the toilet with the door closed. Shower head was broken so kept falling and the place was incredibly noisy from other residents, only because of the bare floors. Furniture and shutters were damaged and overall looked very dated and run down beyond the entrance. Would not like to stay here again.

    Cons: The room was very bashed up - presumably from previous guests but things were broken, hole in wall etc. The bathroom was also really unpractical and small - it was really hard to shower

    Comfortable budget option for a...

    Pros: Great location near St Pancras and the tube. Comfortable and great value for central London, with welcoming staff and easy to check in.
    Cons: Obviously goes without saying in central London, but it does get noisy, so it might be a problem for light sleepers. We had to open the windows to let in fresh air and stay cool at night. The bathroom didn't seem to have great ventilation, but was otherwise clean.
