Great place to stay after...

Pros: Great room with two double beds for me and my friend. Nice new bathroom. Everything worked well. 12th floor. Nice view! The bar was very alive. Food looked great and wine was delicious.

Pros: Clean and very nice inside.

Cons: Valet sucked, takes forever to get your vehicle. I’m guessing it was just a busy Saturday. Overall overpriced for no reason at all. Including paying for everything that they offer you in the room. No free water at all. Breakfast wasn’t provided either so that was disappointing as well.

Cons: Premium priced hotel for a less than premium experience. Was unable to order room service the entire length of stay. I had asked not to be disturbed due to long haul jet lag and there were continuous interruptions from maintenance people through cleaners the entire stay! When asking for a late checkout my final night which was paid for additionally and at the highest applicable rate I was asked to call down in the morning of and see what they had, defeating the purpose of a late checkout. Keycards stopped working each day and had to be reset. The entire floor reeked of weed I’m not talking a hint of smell it was to an inescapable amount. And the shower was very low pressure. These might all seem like minor inconveniences however they were constant and continued frustrations for the duration of my stay and when you pay a significant premium for a 5 star property it would be reasonable to expect an appropriate level of service. My stay was for a very special occasion and it was a highly disappointing experience one which I did not expect from a property so highly rated and priced.

A beautiful hotel, great location,...

Pros: Room had a great view, the bed was comfortable. The location was centrally located to museums, parks, restaurants, and attractions.

Cons: The parking is ridiculous. You pay $50 a day, because you have no alternative. The lobby was as cold inside as the temperature outside. We wanted a drink before going to the opera at the bar and that took more than 30 minutes to receive, not to mention they were overpriced. The biggest opportunity was the elevators in the South Tower. Lines of people waiting up to 30 minutes to go and to go down.

If you can catch it...

Pros: The location in downtown Dallas was great. It was in walking distance of several great restaurants and the area seemed clean and pretty safe. The room was comfortable though it was a bit dated and could have used an update.

Cons: Half the building smelled like pot, the inside of the room seemed dated, and there was no refrigerator available for the guest to store things in.
