    Cabo 2024 solmar Resort

    Pros: Location was great, staff was great, food was decent.
    Cons: but what we didn't like was that the all inclusive didn't include everything. And we couldn't take food to the room. Not even for my little daughter wich was very disappointing. And we paid for all inclusive. I don't know if I would recommend it.

    Pros: Breakfast was good and convenient. Location was great. Our cleaning lady did a wonderful job - Guillie ( not sure of the spelling of her name).
    Cons: Drinks at the pool were expensive!

    Pros: closeness to other resorts and the marina. quiet.
    Cons: toilet ran. staff around pool was very slow with service. Had guests around us that not only smoked but left their cigarette butts all over the grounds. we did call and make a complaint. nothing was done. we asked to speak with the manager.

    Wonderful

    Just a couple days in Cabo. The beach in front of the hotel is lovely, rooms were pretty nice.

    Pros: The concierge booked us on the Wine and Jazz Sunset Sail. The price was discounted through him compared to what I found online to book directly. It was a very nice time - lots of gray and humpback whales. Not nearly as crowded or obnoxious as the booze cruises also available. And the marina to pick up the boat is an easy, short walk from the hotel.
    Cons: When we checked in, we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to all-inclusive. The price for the upgrade was good (comparatively) , but we didn't eat and drink there enough to really have justified it.

    Over all it was good. Do not fall for time share presentation, unless you have 4 hours to waste on your vacation.

    Pros: Location
    Cons: Time Share pitch was mis-represented. Four hours long, high pressure, forced to say no four times to four different people. Had to pay out of pocket to return to our hotel rather than waiting an additional 90 Minutes for next bus. Total unprofessional.

    We're Coming Back!

    Pros: The friendliness of the staff was amazing and appreciated. I think our stay represented the best of what Mexico has to offer from a leisure tourist standpoint. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the daily room service exceeded my expectations. It was one of the first vacations I've taken where I didn't want to leave - please, just a few more days...........
    Cons: It would be nice to have an airport shuttle service to and from the resort that was included in the reservation. I realize this is difficult with the restrictions placed on airport traffic. It would also be great if they had a welcome orientation where you got a briefing on the city, activities, etc., and could ask questions. There is so much to do and see and the multiple street vendors aren't always the best option.

    Pros: Good location away from the more hectic areas of Cabo but still easy walking distance to everything you need and faces onto the beach.
    Cons: The food and drink prices were quite expensive compared to what was available in town but that's to be expected.

    Pros: We liked the security at the front gate before entering the hotel property. This made us feel very safe. The staff was outstanding and very attentive to our needs. The location was near the marina so that was nice to walk around for excursions and food.
    Cons: The only problem was that you can't swim or get into the ocean because it is too dangerous. Strong waves and undertow. Nothing wrong with hotel or the property.
