Cons: Anticipated being able to use the pool and jacuzzi only to find them out of service. This is the second location where this has been an issue. If I had known there wasn’t a pool, I would have chosen a different hotel.

    Disappointing

    Not great, felt it was...

Pros: breakfast was not available, pool was down, stained carpet and stains on walls. Worn down and dirty. Lobby looked worse that what the room looked like. Definitely needs to be updated.
Cons: needs more updating. The fact that it costs $25 to check in early - for every hour is rediculous. Especially when we didn't even need to get into the room. Carpet was stained and walls are dirty.

    Very Poor

    Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel is absolutely run down and dirty. The toilet is not attached to the floor in the bathroom; shower head is broken and sprayed water all over the place; and there is mold on the ceiling. Carpet is dirty and worn. Mattress are broken down. Outlet broke

    Very Poor

    Very run down facility.

Cons: The condition of the facilities was horrible. The pool and hot tub were closed. Excercize room had only a weight set, the treadmill was broken and no other equipment. Our room was also in very poor condition. Peeling paint, Peeling finish on doors and furniture. Carpets were very stained. I purchased slippers so I wouldn't have to walk barefoot.

    Poor

The disappointing low point to an otherwise excellent two-week vacation.

    Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The rooms had stained carpet, well worn furniture, stained furniture, a dented door that had not been repaired, and a fire alarm that was coming loose from the ceiling. The floor in the room my in-laws stayed in was so dirty that towels came up discolored and filthy with dirt after cleaning the floor with them. My mother-in-law almost slipped in the shower from all the soap scum on the shower pan that hadn't been cleaned. In addition to these items, there were numerous facilities that were inoperable, out of order, and waiting for repair. This included the steam room, the spa next to the pool, and the treadmill. The pool area had rusting ceiling tile retaining supports and a missing ceiling tile directly above the pool. My in-law's room smelled musty and dirty. My wife's and my room was less offensive but had numerous dark stains all over the carpet, a chair that would have been rejected by a cheap thrift store in a bad part of town, and another chair that looked like it was stained with someone's DNA. In addition, the front desk clerk, who appeared and acted as if she couldn't have cared less about customer service or her job, told me the handicapped room we reserved for our in-laws was on the third floor, and my wife's and my non-disabled room was on the first floor. I thought this was odd since rooms for the disabled are usually on the first floor. We discovered, of course, that this was a mistake, but not until after my in-laws had slowly made their way to their 3rd floor room with their walkers. When I brought this to the clerk's attention, she had an unconcerned expression on her face, and after a couple of seconds responded, "Okay." There was no concern, no caring, no acknowledgement, nor any apology for the inconvenience she caused my invalid in-laws who are well into their 80's. Overall, this was the disappointing low point in an otherwise excellent two-week trip visiting national parks in the US and Canada.

    Good

It was adequate for my needs, but way overpriced.

Pros: For me, the location was good. The staff was cordial.
Cons: The price. I spent over$500 for two nights. Unfortunately the toilet in my first room stopped up and could not be fixed, and I had to move to another room. Initially I was told I would be charged an extra fee, but that was eventually waived.

Very disappointed - Too expensive for state of hotel

    Disappointing

Overpriced self-service. Grungy, outdated, and not excellent anymore.

Pros: Its close to a lot of stores, food, and places to visit. Very short drive to Astoria, Seaside, etc. The front desk lady we saw for most of our stay was very nice and got us the supplies we requested, like new sheets, extra pillow and towels.
Cons: The room was tidy, but the carpets were spotted with big stains, the curtains in the room had gross chocolate? on them, the chair had a wheel that kept falling off, and there was dog hair on the sheet of the pull out sofa bed. The bedding was bleach rough and stained. The exterior building was covered in spiders and webs - what looked like years worth of accumulation. They didnt offer in room cleaning during your stay. You could bring down dirty things and ask for clean things to take up to your room. They told my husband where the dumpster outside was for trash. I understand short staffing, but the price was too high for the self-service. We wouldnt have been as frustrated except that we paid more for this than we did to stay at a 4star hotel at WDW FL the same time last year. Its not affordable, and not excellent.
