Fantastically perfect!

Pros: Amazing hotel. We had our family vacation in the middle of January and it was our first stay at the Sea Valley Resort. We loved absolutely everything about this place. Cozy and very well maintained territory which gives you a nice feeling of privacy. Our only disturbance was caused by the rooster that lives in the neighbouring private house. This bird was waking us up every morning before 5 am but ear plugs solved the problem and this rooster doesnt belong to the Sea Valley Resort, so it cant be taken as a complain. Clean private beach, well maintained main pool as well as private pools. I would particularly highlight the local restaurant. The best food weve had in Thailand. And weve been in Thailand many times. Top quality food for reasonable prices. And our great thanks to the stuff. Top service and always with the smile. If you are looking for a chilled vacation without touristic buzz around and top service, Sea Valley Resort is definitely your choice. We are looking forward to be back!

Great views and beach but disappointing food

Pros: The location was gold as it well situated in a beautiful beach with and amazing view, and it is pretty quiet in an isolated part of the island.

Cons: The food was just very poor and bland in taste we had breakfast as part of the stay and ate dinner on the first night because of the late arrival but the food was very greasy and whether it was a Thai dish or a Western dish it wasn't fresh or felt frozen. Afterwards we avoided eating from the hotel including the breakfast that we paid for. Secondly god forbid if you had an emergency the management will not refund you for earlier check out. Lastly the rooms were a bit old and run down but that wasn't much of an issue.

The people there do a great job but they need to work on their guest and entertainment concept.

Pros: Location was fine, away from hustle and bustle staff impeccably nice and polite. strongly advice to ALWAYS book a beach front bungalow with private pool otherwise you cant enjoy the place!

Cons: The breakfast and especially the dinner was just mediocre the rates charged were a bit overpriced for a 4 star hotel for our personal taste there were too many families with small kids, which turn the hotel into a noisy place. The downturn is that there are too many Russians, who behave as if they are the kings of the world. Another negative aspect is that the hotel promotes shows and leisure parcs that keep chained baby tigers and monkeys for tourist entertainment, which is unbearable.

could be really good without the kids ... this is not a hotel for staying with them

Pros: get a extra place for breakfast, outside the regular room, where we could have a zigarette beside our coffee away from kids which play with the food on the floor

Cons: from 23 villas are more than the half with young kids .... terrible

Beware. Would not go back, there is nothing to do in that area of Koh Samui.

Pros: It is a nice resort but situated in the middle of nowhere... no public transport, you can walk to 7/11, that's about it. Breakfast very good, but other meals just ok, service very slow. Very clean.

Cons: The location, isolated, unattractive surroundings. Netflix on and off.... walking on the street is very dangerous, drivers go very fast and it is scary.

Pros: The beachfront pool villas were located right on the beach with great view. They were well equipped with a rustic decor. The rooms were nice and quiet and almost isolated. Fast check in and out. Parking was free with the room. Located in a remote road, for the perfect getaway. The resort restaurant has a nice menu and food are reasonably priced.

Cons: The complementary amenities could be improved. Their vehicle rental policy is not friendly and charges are high. The location is in a remote road and have few restaurants and bars in the area, not suitable if you are looking for an active surrounding.
