Cons: Sketchy neighborhood. Someone knocked on our door at 5:00a, we didn’t open because it’s a known way for thieves to get in and rob etc., it was a scary moment. We were excited to try the dinner menu but the restaurant had only one staff member, (bartender) to make drinks, take orders and it was very busy so we left. It was a Friday evening so that was poorly managed.

I've stayed at the Sage...

Pros: Location is very good -- close to the Plaza and River Walk and Whole Foods and Railyard area. Breakfast has pretty much all you want -- eggs, chili, biscuits, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit --- decaf coffee and half and half available and very good. Parking in front of room very convenient. It was cold out but I think the outdoor area right off the breakfast room is probably very nice in the warmer months. I didn't eat at the Social restaurant, but would be convenient for a late night drink.
Cons: AC/Heater and the refrigerator are very noisy --- I turned them off at night. VERY noisy neighbors next door -- until 4am. Next morning the receptionist was very understanding and took a tiny bit off my check. Water in bathroom took forever to get either hot or cold. Faucet needed repair. No ability to have window view without people able to look into the room.

Aside from the small things...

Pros: clean, simple, affordable, convenient
Cons: my first night I slept without the heat because I run hot at night, but it was a little too cold as the blankets were light. my second night I slept with the heat on but set to a low temperature. I woke up suffocated by the heat as it had gone way hotter than the thermostat was set to. maybe next time I’ll just request extra blanket. also I would have like a bedside lamp so I could find my way to the light in the dark. there was a lamp in my room but it didn’t work.

wouldn’t do it again.

Pros: location, breakfast, shuttle driver.
Cons: just a redecorated cheap motel. no sound proofing what’s so ever. the sound of footsteps carried from the floor above us with the laminate flooring. grounds and walkways were untidy. the restaurant and bar had very slow-bad service.

Next morning the receptionist was very understanding and took a tiny bit off my check. Water in bathroom took forever to get either hot or cold. Faucet needed repair. No ability to have window view without people able to look into the room.

Pros: spacious and comfortable, with great amenities. Delicious and diverse breakfast.
Cons: Very few plugs in the room, and only one by the bed. one staff person was rude.

Aside from the small things...

Pros: clean, simple, affordable, convenient
Cons: my first night I slept without the heat because I run hot at night, but it was a little too cold as the blankets were light. my second night I slept with the heat on but set to a low temperature. I woke up suffocated by the heat as it had gone way hotter than the thermostat was set to. maybe next time I’ll just request extra blanket. also I would have like a bedside lamp so I could find my way to the light in the dark. there was a lamp in my room but it didn’t work.

wouldn’t do it again.

Pros: location, breakfast, shuttle driver.
Cons: just a redecorated cheap motel. no sound proofing what’s so ever. the sound of footsteps carried from the floor above us with the laminate flooring. grounds and walkways were untidy. the restaurant and bar had very slow-bad service.

Pros: The kitchen stuff was phenomenal and attentive to their guests and their needs. We were not bombarded with housekeeping, especially since we had children.
