Pros: Great location, good value for money considering how expensive Edinburgh is. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: I booked a room with two single beds but got given a bunk room. Disappointing but we made the most of it.

Cons: No hair dryer, noisy room, was u impressed that i was unable to contact the hotel regarding issues of feeling unsafe in the room as there is no direct telephone number to the hostels reception only to a general customer services. One of my friends during our dtay was admitted to A&E and i had to leave her alone in hospital as i wasnt able to extend my checkout time over the phone which i think is very unreasonable and a service every other hostel and hotel has offered. I think it is appalling that customers are unable to speak to the receptionist of their own hostel incase of an emergency. During our stay A man was lingering outside our room pretending to be a room service as i assume he heard girls alone. We were unable to contact reception about this issue leaving 3 girls scared in a room. There is also no lock on the door which made us feel unsafe leaving us to move furniture to block the door. The floor in the room itself was dirty, the bed on the top bunk hadnt been made and didnt even have a proper duvet cover leaving my friend to use a towel at night. Also found at times there was no staff on reception to help. There was also no wardrobe facilities, the drawers under rhe bunkbed did not come out which made the room look cluttered with all our suitcases as we had no where to store out stuff.

Pros: Sadly there are more minuses than pluses. The staff were friendly and informative. The hostel itself was partially wheelchair friendly. The location was excellent, and easy enough to find.

Cons: Sadly there are more minuses than pluses, there were no drinking vessels for rinsing our mouth after teeth cleaning. The shower (wet room) didn't have non-slip tiles (I wasn't able to use the shower) there were no shelves or cupboards to store clothing. It was supposed to be wheelchair friendly BUT the lift was not accessible and the other lift was down a few stairs and across the crowded bar. I was not in a wheelchair but nevertheless I have mobility problems. The door to our room was extremely difficult to open (it took both of us to open it). There was no television. I know this was a hostel BUT I have stayed in better and cheaper hotels with more amenities than this O&O in Edinburgh. The bed was extremely UNCOMFORTABLE, due to this I had muscular pains after both nights.

Pros: Grest vibe!! A dream for younger travellers but suitable for all. Well run and clean. Lovely bar and entertainment in brilliant location in city centre
