Pros: Location next to the mall is good.

Cons: Every day there are swimming classes for very young kids. They make a lot of noise and they claim the total pool; so you have to swim around them.. its every day. Food is not good in the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel on 2018 and I will always come back to this hotel.

Pros: I traveled with 7 years old, He did enjoy the kids club and the pool. Breakfast is great with so many dishes to choose from. Pool in nice and clean, also the pool guard are friendly.

Cons: Some dishes at the breakfast bar is cold. We have to wait 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast one day. It was busy that day however maybe they can offered us to seat somewhere else by the pools , by the lobby or somewhere.

Cons: Initially we thought it would be lovely, the door staff and receptionist were great. However things felt weird and the experience wasn't great. One staff member hid behind a vase in the restaurant when we wanted to place our order. Very strange. The staff didn't seem to understand us, which is fine - we're always happy to slow down or use google translate. But in the restaurant one of the staff even turned and walked away from us mid conversation. They did it so quickly, we thought they may get another staff member to help. They didn't. Some of the staff stared at us - it was very weird. Whilst in the room it was very clear the hotel needs a renovation, the facilities didn't feel 5 star at all. There was major delays with our room service - we had to call down 3 times because the first two times the person didn't understand us. The staff took our bags, placed them on the trolley...but then no one brought our bags up - until we came down a couple of hours after wondering where our bags were. The lift smelt really unpleasant, sickly. We were looking forward to the breakfast because of the rave reviews, however it was quantity over quality. It wasn't a 5 star hotel, it was 3 stars at best.

Excellent location with delicious and abundant breakfast

Pros: The breakfast offers a variety of food and most are delicious. The location is excellent, just next to Plasa Ambarukmo. The parking lot is also spacious.

Stellar kid-friendly stay

Pros: -Service was stellar. -We traveled with a toddler. And their kids' club and pool were fantastic. The kids' club also had a really nice attendant (called Jela) who kept the kids company and engaged with them. -The buffet breakfast was brilliant: good mix of local and western dishes. -Be sure to check out the palace wing, with the palace and the spa.

Good business hotel with friendly staff.

Pros: A very good business hotel. It isn't all that luxurious but it's a great hotel for a 1 or 2 night stay in Yogyakarta while visiting the surrounding temples. Staff is very friendly and truly there to help.

Cons: Location is not ideal. Although to be fair Yogyakarta is just a sprawling chaotic city and I still struggle to understand where the ideal location would be. Value for money is not the hotel's strongest point.
