Residence Inn is an extended stay hotel chain owned by Marriott. Founded in 1975, this chain of hotels started in Wichita, Kansas, through the efforts of Robert L. Brock and Jack DeBoer. It was only in 1987 that Residence Inn made some changes after it was acquired by Marriott International. As of 2018, this hotel chain has 803 hotels scattered all over Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

During its early years, Residence Inn buildings had were patterned after an outbuilding style. Today, the modern constructions have suites inside the building that are much larger as compared to a conventional hotel room. Guests are able to relax in spacious suites, with standard suites measuring at 450 sq. ft. and a two-bedroom suite are at 750 sq. ft.

Pros: The hotel room was spacious, clean, and had a small kitchen. The free breakfast was very good. Parking was great. Location was good. Staff were incredibly friendly. This should have been a 10/10 except...

Cons: THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. It was down all weekend. I was told that it was fixed and it _wasn't_. I would stay here again if the hot water heater is working. The lower scores is strictly because I was point-blank told it WAS fixed and it wasn't.

Pros: The hotel was beautifully furnished and clean, however, in some of the rooms there was some water wall and roof damage which seems to now be generating a pest control problem. Yes. Woke day after Valentines Day to a cockroach in the sink area. Rate 7 /10

Pros: How close it was to where we were visiting.

Cons: The beds were bad, all of us went home with aching backs. so much air freshener was used on one of the beds that our kid's stuffed animal/blanket came home reeking of it. The room was not very clean We were really disappointed, this hotel was horrible.
