Residence Inn is an extended stay hotel chain owned by Marriott. Founded in 1975, this chain of hotels started in Wichita, Kansas, through the efforts of Robert L. Brock and Jack DeBoer. Pros: The room is spacious, love the kitchenette. Plenty of lights and the TV swiveled between bedroom and living room.

Cons: Seems most hotels are hard beds and super puffy pillows that go flat instantly. Breakfast didn't have cream cheese or butter out right away. Then, when it was brought out, the cream cheese had clearly not been refrigerated in a while as it was curdled.

Cons: I got 2 tickets on my rental car after being told I could park in the designated parking lot. I paid for parking at the hotel and still got tickets. $70 a piece!!! No one even works in the parking lot, nor is there a window sticker to place on your car for proof of payment!!!
