Pros: No complimentary breakfast was offered even though it was mentioned on the reservation. The bathroom wasn’t that clean.

Cons: Made arrangements to stay for a childs birthday/swim party. Confirmed the day before our arrival that the pool was open until 10pm. Check in at 2, decorated the room for the party took the girls to the pool at 4:30, staff came in and closed the pool at 5. Ridiculous!

Cons: Nearly every ice machine was out of order. We had to go to almost every floor before we found one that worked. One of our towels had a huge hairball in it and there was rust in the tub. Itd also be nice if they had complimentary coffee in the lobby.

Pros: All staff members were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself was also very clean and beautiful. An overall pleasant experience that exceeded my expectations!

Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone had smiles all of the time and seemed eager to help wherever possible. The only two complaints I would have is the bar closed early Saturday night when we were there. The website states open until midnight so we waited to have dinner until then (we had gone to the osu game in Stillwater and didnt get back to the hotel until ten). Because of the closing early, we missed getting dinner. We had ate at the bar Friday night and the food was amazing! Thats why we chose to wait until we got back to eat as we wanted another one of the Cuban sandwiches as they were sooo good. The only other issue I had was with the hidden fees. Parking fees of $10 a night shouldve been stated at time of booking. I have no issue with the fee but it wouldve been nice to have that information up front. Also the extra charge for incidentals was confusing. What confused me is that the extra fee was charged up front however the day I checked out, I got the itemized bill which included the $100 for the bar (I tipped heavily to make the charge be exactly $100).that morning I got an extra charge on my card for $65 and some change overall between the two payments, I was overcharged by $35. When I asked the lady at the hostess stand, she was confused as well as to why $65 of the hundred was taken out of the incidentals fee and why I was then charged that extra. She did state that the extra $35 should be getting refunded in a few weeks so Ill watch just to make sure. Overall the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness, the ease of location, etc was a ten out of ten. I will definitely be returning as my son is a freshman at OSU and this hotel is central to us and him.

Pros: The only negative remark about the room is that there are no microwaves in the room. While you could probably order one, most rooms at hotels like this one have microwaves in the room.
