Pros: Our Villa was close to the beach and restaurant dining area. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Cons: The tables in the breakfast dining and restaurant have appalling legs. They should be one single pole in the centre. The 4 timber legs I always banged my knees on, very annoying!!

Cons: Being a couple married for over 25 years & staying for 5 nights we faced quite unsatisfactory & horrible attitudes at Ravindra Beach Resort managed by Sunshine Hotels & Resort Group. 1st of all we faced pathetic scenario at the time of check-in; despite our clear & prior requests of having king size bed & timely availability of check-in we were told that its not available, despite tired & exhausted due to continues long journey we tried to convinced but with no fruitful result. Hence after lousy check-in procedure which was conducted by some trainee staff unprofessionally which took hack of a time; very un-thoughtful that one put trainee handling independently at the point where guest take 1st impression. Anyways from unavailability of concierge to accompany for show us even at our room, from poor WiFi & from dull air-conditioning till check-out it was disastrous experience with Ravindra. Moreover, an ample part of hotel along-with swimming pool # 1 is under construction phase which had not been mentioned at the time of booking. Although initially it was not our intention to write even a review however, frustration has to spill out. The resort staff were very good but maintenance was lacking and resort needed updating.

Cons: The resort had 3 pools which was very appealing to us but the one closest to our villa was closed off for renovation. The other 2 pools were very much for families with small children who naturally enough are very noisy. As adults hoping to rest after hectic Europe we were disappointed.

Pros: The welcoming staff, the beautiful landscaping, all the rooms have a pool/ garden view, the comfy bedroom, the pool bar and the beach restaurant food.

Cons: Its very quiet at night - it would have been nice to have had some entertainment. And more choices of daytime activities. The restaurant by the lobby was shut and we were never sure if the cafe was open. Very good drinks menu at the cafe - this should be available at the pool bar and Reva restaurant as well. Bring back the shuttle bus into Pattaya! This was available before the pandemic but is no longer an option so we had to get Grab taxis into town.

Cosy Beach Resort with good facilities

Pros: The hotel amenities are good. They got 3 swimming pools (one is under consideration) and one with a pool bar. Rooms are generously spacious and come with a private balcony. Our Spa experience is really amazing. The spa staff are very professional and well skilled. They got a private beach just next to the marina. Evening walks along the pier is highly recommended in the afternoon before the sunset. Breakfast buffet was filled with many goodies and some live cooking stations. Staff are very helpful except the language barrier.

Cons: Food and beverages are in poor standards. We ordered a Hightea for a couple upon arrival. The Hightea has very minimal items and 95% sweet and 5% savoury. We thought the waiter took the order wrong, but apparently, it was for 2ppl. Don't order Hightea there as it will disapont you for sure. Also, their poolbar cocktails taste different to Reva restaurant cocktails. We had a snack and dinner from the Reva restaurant. The quality of the food is certainly not good. Had club sandwich and fried squid. Club sandwich was dry, and the squid was soggy. Also, the dinner was average. However, their prices are cheaper than other 5* facilities.

Pros: The staff was amazing always looking out for us. The spa and all the other services were as well great.

Cons: The humidity is high and I highly encourage the use of dehumidifiers in the rooms to slow the mold development.
