A wonderful last minute booking!

Pros: Incredibly modern with rooms bigger than you'd think looking at photos. Concierge was an unexpected but lovely touch. Fairly small evening menu in the restaurant but a good selection of food choices for all tastes. Bed was huge with a choice of a memory foam pillow or feather pillow although too thin for just 1 but waaay too thick for both. Just out the way enough but not too far away from the city centre.

Disappointed from start to finish.

Pros: The location was brilliant and the hotel had a lovely welcoming atmosphere. TV in the room with free film selection was a nice touch as were the bottles of water in the fridge. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were dreadful.

Cons: Bedding was dirty, the air conditioning unit barely cooled the room and no option to open the window for any fresh air. The mirror in the bathroom was coming off the wall, limited tea and coffee options and although the room was booked for 2 guests, only one guest robe was available. The lights in the wardrobe were faulty, so you couldn't see your clothes when put away, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work well and although I was grateful for the range of films free of charge, the fact they were low quality streams meant you couldn't really enjoy them. I expected so much more from this hotel, given its reputation and cost of the room. Won't be staying here again.
