Pros: The breakfast and the view

Cons: The room is super small and there is barely any place to put your things. You basically live off the floor. Also there were a lot of cockroaches in the room. There was no TV which had been removed and no lamp on the bedside table. Also no safe.

Lovely hotel marred by location and noise.

Pros: The view from the restaurant area was incredible. The staff were very friendly and kind. The breakfast menu was very cheap plus they had fruit and other snacks that you could have for free for staying at the resort. If you had any dramas you could contact the host to help you out at any time. There were cats and dogs at the resort which made the stay very cute

Cons: We used the washing service at the resort and the staff included other peoples clothes in our washing by mistake. It was a very hard hotel to get to, the hike up to the resort does require a certain level of fitness. If you were suffering from a mobility injury I dont believe you would be able to stay at this resort. If you plan on staying at the resort pack ear plugs as the sound travels quite far from the party beach and the music doesnt stop until 2am every night.

Comfy room in a good location with incredible views of the island

Pros: Very nice staff. They collected us from the pier and took our bags the whole way up to the property and did the same for our departure. The air conditioning was great and bed was comfortable. Beautiful views from the room and a nice secluded location. Despite other reviews, its only a 10min walk or so to the busy area of the island. I would be much happier staying here away from the busy area, plus its worth it for the view.

Cons: The music from the beach is audible from the room and shuts off around 2am, would recommend bringing earplugs. The room did not get cleaned while we stayed which was a bit annoying due to sand. Quite a hike to get to the hotel up a lot of stairs so would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues, however we did enjoy the exercise.

Pros: Nothing about this resort(more like dumping ground) is good. You will break your ankle on the uneven, jagged trail up hill all the way to your room (20min walk)

Cons: The bed bugs ( Im left with bites all over my face and neck), tv not working, shower not working, no amenities. Tiny little box of a room, I would pay to stay in a hostel instead of this dump. Owner manager is joke aswell. Breakfast was horrible.

Cons: Getting to the resort is not the easiest. Quite a walk from the pier. It would be nice for an option to get there by boat and swimming pool.

Cons: You have to walk very long and a few steps up there are better locations on the island with a sort of same view where you dont have to walk that long also you dont stay in your room the whole day so its only when you wake up you can enjoy it

Pros: The staff were very helpful and the accommodation was clean. We loved the location. The views were breathtaking. Although I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues as it's a challenging climb to get there.

Pros: The view from the bungalows is awesome and the view from the lobby even better. The hotel is far from the crowded streets. The stuff from the hotel helps to get the luggage to the room and even back to the pier after checking out.

Cons: It was a half of an hour before the breakfast time ends, but it was already late to order one. The blanket is 100% synthetic, if sleeping with air conditioner on, wake up wet And the beach disco plays extremely loud music from 10 pm to 2 am, lots of stress

Pros: The view was great! The staff where very polite and eager to help. Breakfast is good, although having only 4 option of witch 3 are egg based can be quite boring after a few days.

Cons: You can hear the music from the clubs quite loudly until 3 am. The road from town to the hotel is quite long and having to do that 2-4 times a day makes it a bit unfortunate...

Cabin in the woods with a 40min trek from the Pier provides basic food, and views - adventurers only

Cons: It was so far from the city, 35minute walk from ton sai pier with a guide, easily 40-45 minute if finding it yourself. The walk to get there is like a hike, lots of stairs, sketchy alleyways, hills, uneven passage very unsafe after dark. Rooms didnt have A/C working, changed 3 rooms during check in process. With how far it is from the city, made it very uncomfortable to want to go out and be able to just pop back for a snack or quick nap during the day - as a result we ended up checking out the next day even though we booked for 2 nights. They wouldn't offer a refund or any voucher for our poor experience. Breakfast was mediocre, not many options - understandable considering the staff have to trek for 1.5hrs to go get stuff. Once checked in, room was rather quiet, lots of lizards so do be mindful its effectively a cabin in the forest. Got a decent view, first 2 rooms they wanted to put us in was nill for view (had to ask for view we paid for). Was private with a balcony which was nice, and we had a few drinks and fun on the balcony. Overall not the destination we were hoping for our honeymoon. Memorable for all the wrong reasons.
