Pros: The remoteness and friendly staff

Cons: No milk alternatives like almond or oat milk at breakfast no bananas for entire stay for a banana fritter so we had to walk down to another restaurant.

Phi phi island is highly recommended, but find a newer hotel

Cons: The room is super old and very poor Bath Ned toilet are from 30 years ago and so us the room And we took the 2 rooms pool villa

Paradise Location away from the business of Tonsai Pier

Pros: The location, once you realise that the property is quite secluded and not close to the main area of Phi Phi. The beach is quiet and a complete contrast to Tonsai pier. The grounds of the property were lovely too and well kept. The staff cannot be faulted. The were constantly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons: The beds were very hard. The breakfast selection was limited. The tours provided by the resort were expensive so it would be worthwhile speaking with locals or arranging tours from Tonsai pier.

A perfect stay at paradise.

Pros: What an amazing experience! We were a bit afraid for some of the reviews were quite worrisome, however there is absolutely no justification for them based on our experience. To beging with we received every bit of information necessary for a safe and comfortable arrival. We were greeted in the most amazing way by the whole hotel staff, making us feel like real VIPs. The room was beautiful with atention to all the details with a beautiful bed with bug screen, closet, safety box, a small fridge with cold water, a fully stocked bathroom with a shower with a view, a balcony with sunbeds and a place to dry wet clothes, a small living room with chairs, coffee pot, etc. Of course we did find a few bugs in the room throughout our stay but this is a tropical island, made us wonder what people complaining of insects in the room were thinking when they booked a destination called "Natural Reserve". The food at the restaurants was excellent as were the drinks (try the Long Island it is to die for). Overall we had an amazing stay and we highly recommend the place. They have some rooms overlooking the sea with jacuzzi, but ours was not one of those. Try them and let us know your experience so we can book one of those next time! Cons: The place is not so well connected. Moving around is tricky. The hotel should tell you before hand that there is a 1 hour drive from the airport to the boat in Phuket, and that the boat ride from the hotel back is almost 2 hours, so be careful when you book your planes. We had to book a different flight because we did not know this.

Disappointment.

Cons: A place far from the center which was more expensive than elsewhere by boat. The reception arranges a boat to the center for a ridiculous amount of money. Room very far from the reception, a dead end where all restaurants and businesses close at 10pm. Missing sunbeds on the beach. Very modest breakfast.

Pros: Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Always trying to please. They have certainly excelled in their customer centric approach. If a Thai holiday away from the hustle of some of the bigger tourist spots like Phuket, or Krabi is your scene, then PhiPhi Natural resort on Laemtong Beach is the place to go.

Pros: amazing amazing location! I snorkelled nearly every day out front with no one else in water was so quiet and relaxing , staff was very friendly and helpful ,especially breakfast staff and Moo who was on reception

Cons: the only thing i didnt like were some vases with standing water outside (not the ones for cleaning the feet) because they are the ideal places for mosquito development

Laemtong review

Pros: The facilities were amazing. Room was nice and clean. The beach was quiet and clean and great to swim in.

Cons: Being rushed at breakfast and told I needed to go to checkin for transfers. Only to then wait 15-20minutes and see other guests arrive after me for check in. Not realizing that I couldn't get to Ton Sai without a boat transfer. There was a shuttle for 300 bhat that ran three times a day. But last one left at 2pm. After that you had to negotiate with the locals for a private boat which depending on the time of the day could cost up to 3000 bhat one way. Had to find other people going the same way to share the cost.

Pros: The private beach are amazing, and the hotel is very quiet so it is perfect for traveller who enjoy some clam and peaceful down time.

Cons: Last shuttle boat from the busier part of the island stops running from 4:30pm and so Id have to hire a private boat back which was almost 6 times the price.

Paradise!

Pros: Fantastic place. I can't understand any of the bad reviews. Breakfast was fab, bed was firm but very comfy. Yes there are some bugs about but you're surrounded by nature and greenery.... You don't get the good wildlife without the bugs! And yes it is out of the way but that was what we wanted! We got the speed boat from phuket to laemtong beach which worked perfectly. The hotel is fab. The snorkelling was out of this world and right from our door. And there are several beach bars/ restaurants a short walk away down the beach. Minimal nightlife but that's not what we wanted! Also well done.. Only place we went in thailand not using plastic straws! It was paradise and we'd definitely go back.

The hotel is nice, but abandoned

Pros: Large territory of the hotel. Despite the difficult landscape, everything is convenient and well located. On the territory there are paths for walking both inside the territory and along the sea. In the evening, people gather for sunset. There are a lot of greenery, flowers, trees on the territory. Lots of animals. The room is spacious on two levels. The staff is very friendly.

Cons: It immediately gave the impression that the hotel had not yet recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic. A closed area behind the reception, where there used to be a restaurant, a hotel bar and, as we understood, evening life. Breakfast is now outside the hotel in the nearest restaurant. It is quite meager and monotonous. You won't stay hungry, but there won't be much joy from it. the coffee is terrible. No porridge, no cheese. The eggs are cold. The territory of the hotel is abandoned, There is a lot of garbage of both natural and human origin. The bushes are not trimmed, the fountains do not work. It can be seen that the far part of the hotel is not cleaned in principle. Once it was cool here, but now... A separate topic is room cleaning. Every day a young girl comes to make the bed, slightly sweep the room and that's it. The room was very dirty even at the time of check-in. Sand and dust in every corner and crevice. It is clear that there is simply not enough staff. There are no hooks in the bathroom, but there were a huge number of towels. There is garbage floating in the pond at the reception, the railing is broken. The territory around the pool is not cleaned.

Cons: Everything was kinda dated, could u use a good update and the garden needs better maintenance. The breakfast was really disappointing for a 4 star hotel, very limited in choice and not healthy. Also that spot of the island, you don't have much food options and the hotel isn't one of them.
