Good place, great location

Pros: Nice property in a great neighbourhood. Easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and cafes of San Telmo. Comfortable room in a historic building. Some great public spaces we would have spent time in if the weather had cooperated!

Amazing, helpful staff and great stay in BA

Pros: Everyone that worked there were knowledgeable and so helpful in giving us directions, advice and recommendations. They were friendly and always available. The shuttle service provided by the accommodation to and from the airport was also excellent, location was good and the place was comfortable and perfect for our short stay. Breakfast was also tasty and filling!

Great location and decor, with a comfy and very quiet room!

Pros: The location is in prime san Telmo. The decor is fantastic with an amazing indoor patio. The rooms are very nice and comfy and I got quality sleep while staying there. I read on a review before booking that theyre the quietest rooms in all of South America and I 100% agree. The staff was incredibly helpful and very accommodating.

Cons: The only thing I didnt like is a minor one. The bathroom was the smallest I saw in Argentina. Make sure your partner is ok with this further intimacy!

Pros: Marcelo was very nice and accommodating the a/c wasnt working he provided the fan and was very helpful.

Cons: Atilio was condescending and not nice at all he is the reason Im giving a low score on staff. He needs more training and be equal to all guests.

Cons: Basic and repetitive breakfast. No fresh juice, no espresso, just hot water and coffe. Due to the room facing the inner courtyard, there is no privacy (one needs to keep the curtains always closed).

Pros: A quiet, comfortable room, which was kept very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lots of places to sit out in sun or shade.

Cons: No evening meal in the hotel altho' there were places nearby. Just didn't like going out on my own at night.

A very pleasant stay with excellent staff

Pros: The staff was truly excellent! We were checked in by the most friendly, welcoming, and cheerful Attilio, who settled us in and helped us with our inquiry for the sightseeing. Marcello helped us with the heating in the room. And Alberto the front manager made sure we were looked after by the team. Georgina the weekday breakfast lady was friendly and caring. She did not just do her work but made sure we were well taken care of every morning with her. The cleaning ladies were also friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and well decorated. Lots of storage space too. The bathroom was also very spacious. The breakfast room was also pleasant. A coffee machine is provided for the guests to use. There was also a very nice sitting room/library on the mezzanine floor. The location is terrific. Right in the middle of the old town Sal Telmo. Several shops and eating places around. Close to the Market. And close to a subway station.

Cons: Only one small thing. The weekend breakfast lady (who shall not be named) did not refill the food even when we had over 20 minutes of the breakfast hours left (but was very eager to get our room number). When I tried to ask for more food (very politely and in a friendly manner) several times, she either did not try to understand me (she doesn't speak English) or willfully ignored me. At the end when I went into the kitchen with my plate and pointed at the boxes of cheese and ham, she tried to tell me that the breakfast was finished. I had to show her the watch so she could see that there were 8 minutes left before she grudgingly opened the box and gave me food at last.

Cons: No fridge in the room for such a price isnt a good thing. Breakfast is a bit poor, no fresh orange juice, no much variety. I asked for the invoice and it couldnt be prepared right away.

Pros: Awesome staff, felt safe the whole time, especially as a solo woman traveller. Was very close to the San Telmo Market and Dorrego Square which were key locations in San Telmo and very close to the Subte line. Bathrooms were great. Very clean, lots of hot water.

Cons: There was only free Wi-Fi in the lobby/mezzanine area... if wi-fi is a deal breaker for you, then this isn't it. Otherwise though, safe, clean, nice staff.

Really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if I was visiting the area.

Pros: Great location a lot of restaurants near by and also very close to the airport I flew to and from. The staff were all helpful and any questions I asked they were able to answer. They also allowed me to leave my bag at reception after check out because I had a later flight, which was appreciated.

Cons: I found in my room that the Wi-Fi was inconsistent. Breakfast not included.

Pros: Great security and friendly polite gentleman working the front desk reception. Love the rustic look throughout the hotel.

Cons: Bathroom is tiny. I don't consider myself a large person (176cm, 70kg) but it was a tight fit taking a shower right next to the toilet.
