Cons: Rude employees and hardly anyone who speaks English. For over 600 euros a night having to beg to get a second croissant is insane as not even an egg and/or fresh orange juice is included and has to be paid for while breakfast in the room is included in the price. 100 euro per day to park your car is insanely high. The smell in the hallways is of a hotel back in the days. The hotel tries to charge you for everything while not disclosing upfront. Clearly not a 4 star service. Bad powering for phones as the power seems to be cut at night. Light bulbs, half are not working and one key per room which you need to have the power on in the room and to use the elevator so you have to go everywhere together even to ask a question at front desk as the other one is sitting in the dark.

Cons: First there is no contacting or negotiating with this property.They purposefully and knowingly extorted me upon departure Friday morning. An intimidating man and his mama run the hotel and the desk. We had already had a terrible experience for the entire stay. The thing that was the absolute worse was being presented at the end of our stay with a hand written bill in Italian of a list of charges we did not make or sign for. One of those charges was $100 per day for parking. I was told parking was $30 and the shuttle was free. When I tried to ask what the charges were and tell him I didnt agree with them he became extremely angry and started raising his voice in Italian and English. He had another very intimidating man with him who had already yelled at me in he one shuttle ride I took early in the week. There was an old lady sitting in the lobby. The man refused to give us our car unless we paid this $649 bill. I did pay it but never signed for anything. I was given no copy. I did ask to photograph the handwritten charges. He refused. My son asked him to hold it up so he could read it. I was able to snap a quick photo although he tried to cover it with his hand. I paid the charges on my capital one card as I felt like it was the only way to get our car back and leave. When I paid he opened the garage door. The old lady got up and got into a car they had blocking the garage exit. We got in the car She drove away and we were allowed to leave. The week prior was also filled with issues. I first tried to cancel the reservation because I went back and was reading many very bad reviews. Although it was over two months out thy refused so we were stuck. Fair enough I accidentally booked a non refundable property. We booked a double room as it was my son, an adult, and I traveling together. We were given a single room with one bed. We were only given one key.

Decent hotel but did not meet expectations.

Pros: The view from our balcony was truly exceptional, the best thing about this hotel.

Cons: We felt it was misrepresented. We were expecting a spa and a bit more luxury, but really this is just a standard, if decent enough, hotel. Forget the spa. Location not optimal, right at the top, although that is what it is, cant be helped. We walked down/up a few times, not as far as it looks, roads easier than steps plus you go past the bars/restaurants. Parking is expensive, 120 euro for 2 nights, but this is less than options further down, unless youre able to grab a blue line spot on street (rare). It is an expensive town, basically ruined by excessive tourism, so this hotel is a cheap option although not good value at all. Id question it as a good destination tbh. The beach area heaves with American tourists and beach is private and absurdly expensive to use. The public section of beach is tiny and risible. Back to the hotel: male staff not over friendly, complimentary breakfast very basic, and gluten free option not honoured although agreed prior. Room very good, excellent shower, large comfortable bed, and above all a stupendous view from the decent balcony.

Pros: The location was great and it had a good view. Price was better than other hotels in the area. Liked that it had breakfast.

Disappointed for what we paid

Pros: Large room with terrace was a nice view to wake up to

Cons: Not very close to main locations. Oversold and moved us for one night which was inconvenient. Car into town was 5 mins for 35 each way.

Pros: It was wonderful villa with amazing view! Personal was so supportive, breakfasts every morning was delivered to our room without any additional charges. Management helped us with everything what we needed - recommendations, helpful advises, etc.

Cons: We found that 300m from the sea - it is not very close, unfortunately. We had 20 min of hiking to reach out room every day After we arrived during check in we found in our room a lot of ants , but personnel brought some chemicals and problem was resolved quickly.

Good views, bad service

Pros: 1) The view from our room is perfect. 2)young moroccan man (night shift receptionist) was helpful in negotiating/translating for us 3)cleanliness of hotel is relatively good, not 100% though and lots of room for better cleanliness 4)location is at top of Positano so the views around the hotel are perfect, super super perfect balcony views 5)mini market right next to the hotel so easy to get groceries 6)room is spacious enough

Cons: 1) air conditioning kept turning off at least 4 times a day, and we had to either call the receptionist or go down (especially at night when they dont pick up) for them to turn it on again (since we cant turn it on in our room) 2) No receipts/proof of payment for anything. We paid 200 hotel deposit and 160 hotel transport service and we had to spend 15 mins convincing them to at least write on a random piece of paper in pen that we paid those amounts. 3) Gaslighting. Communcation with them is very hard and us asking for simple things such as a spoon, or turning on the air conditioner again, or proof of payments, is like asking for something impossible and they behave like we are such a hassle and burden to ask for these things as they sigh heavily and stare at us like were the first people to ever ask for these things. 4) Rude morning shift receptionist man on phone shouting at us for asking for a spoon and he never brought it.

Just a nice view in this property

Pros: The only good thing about this property is the view.

Cons: Its very far from the main Street and when I asked the owner how long it takes to the beach and the Main Street he said only 10 minutes. However, we needed to climb down or up about 400 stairs to get to the shops and the main area in Positano. He did not even provide us with any hand soap and gave me a shampoo to wash our hands with. Interestingly, he kept on insisting that shampoo and the soap are the same thing. We left the property one day sooner since we realized we had made a mistake choosing this property.

Amazing view in the center of Positano

Pros: The view is amazing! We had a room on the top floor, it was the best part of the hotel. Rooms were clean, I loved everything, breakfast lady I forgot her name was extremely nice and polite. The breakfast options however could be improved.

Incredible view and authentic atmosphere

Pros: Very pleasant and sweet lady who runs the hotel. Verbal Language barrier hampered understanding during check-in a bit, but we managed and body language made up for the rest . Incredible service and Beautiful view.
