    Disgrace!!! Stay away!!

    Pros: Do not book! Lack of professionalism! They decided to close the hotel 3 days prior to our arrival without advising us due to a clean up of ligeonaires disease we drove all the way there only to be told we will be put up in a hotel close by which was not the same standards or cost! The hotel were in contact with me for those 3 days as we were discussing tours but at no point did they say our reservation was cancelled or that the hotel was closed. After ongoing back and forth they finally agreed to another hotel a further 1 hour 45 mins away as that was the only alternative to the other horrible one they suggested . We lost a full day we will never get back thanks to their lack of respect and professionalism! We were only in Mauritius for 6 nights so we planned everything and chose hotels specifically based on location and areas to see close by. The other hotel thankfully had lovely staff and made up for our awful experience. It seems they treated other customers the same way as we met 3 other couples with the same issue. Stay away!!!
    Cons: Lack of communication that they cancelled our reservation due to the hotel being closed prior to the day even though a member of the reception team was in contact via email regarding tours!

    Superb

    Pros: Room is big with big bathroom,in room where iron which I appreciated and hair dryer very good one not like typical hotel hair dryer. Very big and comfortable bed,beautiful view from room. very good restaurant and cocktails. Im room were very good Wi-Fi.
    Cons: only Wi-Fi connection at small pool werent available.

    The near-perfect resort

    Pros: Every single staff had a smile on and a hello ready for us. Very accommodating and friendly staff. They were very flexible with our checkout time, allowing us to enjoy their facilities a bit longer. Breakfast was really good. So much different stuff and always restocking. The room was spacious and we had an amazing view of the turquoise ocean. Free water everywhere and new towels everyday.
    Cons: Not much to be honest, was near perfect. It was a shame that the "instagrammable" pier was under repair, but that's a minor thing. I'd love to see more local dishes also in the breakfast.

    Bad night stay at outrigger hotel

    Pros: Swimming and breakfast only
    Cons: The room.the jaccuzi is broken..the back door cannot be closed from outside..there were only dim light..was very difficult with my toddler specially at night to change the nappies and to feed her(the hotel was aware of her). There is a door in the bathroom which i did not appreciate. There was a tv in the room but could not use it since the remote was not working. For a 5-star hotel the room is very old and did not meet my expectation compared to a 3-star hotel with i went before. At dinner there were no mauritian dishes despite having mauritians in the hotel(there were only european and indian dishes which were served). Personally this type of hotel should be specially for tourists.

    Average Chilled family resort

    Pros: Kids pool with the slide is nice. The sunsets and sunrises. Beaches. Glass boat experience, Snorkeling Room sizes and amenities. One restaurant next to the beach. Very chilled relaxed family environment. Very spacious hotel and not crowded.
    Cons: The main restaurant has a very poor selection. Leaking ceiling at the main restaurant. GYM Equipment poor. Boat house has only 1 tour per day. No towels and must keep as they don't replace it daily. Dead mouse on the balcony while checking in. Outdated Cooling system and interiors. Drinks at the pool bar are very poor quality.
