Pros: The personal attention - especially from the owner. Going out of their way to accommodate our early arrival after a long trip. Excellent and varied breakfasts. Great restaurant recommendation. Suite was equipped with everything one could need.

Pros: So convenient! Great shops and restaurants nearby. Loved exploring the unique clothing and artisan shops, dotted with local restaurants and bars. Busy Isliktal St. in the other direction for a whole different vibe. We walked from the hotel to sites like Galata Tower and Bridge (go @ sunset!), the Spice Bazaar, to the ferry, etc. Staff went above and beyond. It was clean and the breakfast was exceptional. Slept well.

Cons: The elevator is really small! We had to take turns with the luggage, but it was more funny than problematic.

Great location and good price

Pros: Really liked the price point, the location/neighbourhood and the personel. Good breakfast as well.

Cons: Unfortunately we got a room which was directly above the entrance and next to the street (one floor above). So the smoke went in to the bathroom via the ventilation and the street noise was clear and audible. Also missed the proper tools in order to do some ironing in the room, i.e. an iron and an ironing board.

Pros: Location is very good and in a nice area, very busy but the rooms are quiet as they face the courtyard and not the busy street. Bed was comfortable and good selection of tolieteries. Good hair drier. The room was spacious.

Cons: The breakfast is not bad and offer variety but wasn't the best I have experienced in all travels. If you offer a kettle in the room at least a tea bag should be available or it is quite useless.

A good room with not such a good view

Pros: Hotel is very close to Isticlal, and in a not so touristic area with lots of bars and restaurants. If you walk downhill you can catch trams and busses. The breakfast was good, quite varied, although the coffee was pretty weak.

Cons: Although the room was quiet, at the back, and spacious, I felt a bit claustrophobic the first night as through the window I could only see a stairwell, and some doors and windows. The other unpleasant discovery was that the emergency exit was at some points partly blocked by a vacuum cleaner, bags and pipes. I informed the staff, who did not seem to see the problem.
