Pros: Everything about my stay was amazing. Exceeded all expectations and the friendly staff made it over the top. Room was perfect. Comfy beds, nice shower, big fridge, and the location!! Close to a cute little river and yosemite. I definitely will come back and have already recommended this inn. Top notch. I wish I could give them 12 stars!

The place needs a good refurbishing. The room looked "tired" and did not have too.

Pros: The location was very convenient and staff were nice. I could park close to the door to the room. The outside deck was nice. It was, for sure, rustic.

Cons: The room could use paint- lots of chips and paintovers. The door to the shower and outside deck were a challenge to open. The floor was dirty (needed vaccumming). The blanket had burn marks, the water was rusty, th shower handle was loose. Would have liked a microwave instead of going back and forth to the office. Rustic does not have to look old. Attending to small details would go a long way. This could be a great place with a few changes.

It has potential but shortcomings make it uncomfortable.

Pros: Setting on a hillside in a forest about five miles from entrance to Yosemite National w.

Cons: Shower ran hot and cold. Front desk said that this was caused by old pipes that the owner plans to repair next year. One light is out in the bathroom. No housekeeping. We had to go to the office for towels.

Cons: No hot water in our room. Remote for the tv didnt work. Our room was next to the restaurant and it was quite loud.

Rustic beauty yet lacking food options.

Pros: The location is beautiful. The property is older but is clearly being maintained. The room was small but warm and functional. Deck with forest view was beautiful. The property has its own well and the water out of the tap was outstanding. I also enjoyed exploring the property with it's trail around the perimeter and the adjacent steam engine locomotive. Overall it's a nice, rustic inn with a lot of charm and surrounding beauty. I hope the current owners keep improving on this gem of a property and I'd love to return.

Cons: The restaurant was closed and its hours of operation are seasonal, so check beforehand and plan accordingly. Oakhurst is about 20 mins away for a variety of food options and the local general store had an delicious pulled pork sandwich for a very reasonable price.

Cons: We were sad the restaurant was closed - we had heard great things and the convenience wouldve been wonderful.

Dont bother - drive the extra 8 miles and stay at a chain hotel in Oakhurst where there are also several restaurants

Pros: Location would have been IF the restaurant was open - quick to get to south entrance Yosemite park. However, there was no indication on website and management who had sent welcome instructions did not inform us that the restaurant was closed for 2 weeks!

Cons: It was dirty The bathroom was not clean and shower tiny with ill fitting door so water sprayed out Small amount of toilet paper Carpet in the room was dirty, stained heavily and I spotted a few bugs
