Cons: Someone tried to break into our room, their card opened the door but we had the latch on. It is overrun with very young people partying. The rooms were so sparse there wasn’t even a drinking glass, no coffee, dark and dank bathroom.

Relaxing stay

Pros: Nice spa at the hotel, with amazing staff. I accidentally left my necklace in the spa robe and I was contacted by them to say they had found it, I hadn't even realised it was missing! I am very grateful for that. Easy check in, glass of prosecco and bottle of water on arrival. Large room with great city views. I told them when booking it was for my birthday and I arrived to a bottle of prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries in the room. Nice pool area but it does get busy quickly, arrive early. Cafe and shops in walking distance

Cons: Room is a little dated for my taste, but it is still comfortable and clean.

Pros: Location and view

Cons: "My recent stay at the Mondrian Hotel in Miami was deeply disappointing and compelled me to write this review, a first for me. Our arrival set a regrettable tone for the entire visit. Despite arriving with four large pieces of luggage between 8-9 am, we received no assistance; not even the courtesy of having the door opened for us, leaving us questioning our choice from the start. The condition of our initial room was appalling, with cleanliness standards shockingly ignored. The room was littered with hair, visible signs of sexual activity on the couch, and spilled drinks staining both the floor and carpet. Upon complaining, the reception promised a new room within 15 minutes, yet it took an excruciating three hours before we were relocated, effectively wasting our morning and leaving us with our room around 2 pm. While the second room offered a better view and was not as filthy as the first, it was a small consolation for the earlier distress. Furthermore, the attitude of the staff at the pool area was notably unfriendly. Considering the high price of 500€ per night, the additional minimum spend of 300€ at the pool felt like an insult to injury.

I don't understand the appeal...

Pros: Nice location if you want to stay a bit off the beach. West Ave is much quieter and has much less traffic and people. Great pool overlooking the bay, which is nice because you get the PM sun directly from the bay with no obstructions.

Cons: Staff was not pleasant... seems like everyone at the front desk has an attitude problem. Probably because they deal with snobby, entitled guests all day... That is very sad, but it is very apparent that there is no joy in their jobs. Not just front desk either... pool folks are not very friendly too. Also, for lunch we sat at the restaurant for about 30 min after being seated, waiting for someone to come to the table. After 30 min, I approached the hostess to ask if there was a waitress working, and a waitress came out of the back to see why I was talking to the hostess. They got into a brief argument and then the waitress told me that "...it was their job to tell me someone is here...," meaning the hostess. Either way, it wasn't very befitting of a 4 or 5 star hotel. And for all the wait and confusion, the food was not very good. Grilled chicken breast is not chicken shawarma... no matter how it is seasoned.

Pros: Easy to get to from airport. Plenty of pool chairs

Great hotel. Just not enough...

Cons: Not enough chairs at pool. Some guests had to sit on ground. I paid $100 for day bed (originally $300 but I talked them down bc there were no chairs and I’d already paid the $50 resort fee.) They participate in Resort Pass which adds to the pool mayhem and chaos.

Not what we expected.

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the gym was ok with a nice view on the skyline.

Cons: The apartment was a big disappointment for us. We booked it because it offers a kitchenette. When we arrived the kitchen was totally empty and we needed to request the kitchen utilities. But the hotel actually only supplied 2 plates, 2 small bowls, a large skillet, a large pot, 1 spatula, 2 knifes, 2 forks and 2 spoons. When we tried to warm up some water we found out that the skillet and the pot are not compatible with the induction stove. In order to be able to prepare any meals we requested additional kitchen supplies, like a smaller induction pot, a cutting board, a salad bowl or a can opener, but we were told that they cannot supply these items. So we were forced to buy certain kitchen items in order to be able to prepare even small meals. Do not rent an apartment at this hotel if you are not willing to bring your own kitchen supplies. - The shower hose was leaking, but the hotel replaced it quickly. - The vanity light in the bathroom could not be turned off automatically. We were told that they do not have any spare parts to repair it, which meant that the light was on day and night during the entire stay. - The lightning in the bathroom is very bad and it was hard to put on make up. - The iron chairs on the balcony are very uncomfortable. - The table in the apartment is very small and the wooden chairs have no cushioning. - Sofa is stained and needs cleaning. - The hallways have poor lightening, the AC is far too strong in the common areas. In general, the hotel is not worth the money.

Cons: Noisy rooms. No drawers in room. Tired furniture. Only allowed on small sunbeds crammed in tightly when loads of day beds and seats were empty all day but you had to pay $250 dollars to reserve them despite our room costing $800 a night. Poor.
