Bait&switch:broken shower,wet bathroom floor,humid room,red...

Cons: Small hotel, moldy rooms, wet bathroom floor from broken shower cord and more. Unprofessional staff at the reception checking and and checking out. Old, dry breakfast, the products were left uncovered for too long; eggs and bacon looked very distasteful; few bakery assortments and those didn't look enticing at all. "Fresh juice" was bottled juice, not fruit flavor, just medicine taste. It's a small, small hotel, cheap vibe, big scam. In 1950 could have been considered a 4**** hotel, right not... maybe 1 or 2.

Cons: Had to walk a very long way around the outside of the building to get to our room. Not very tourist convenient for travellers coming from North America who have to bring more than a carry on suitcase.

Pros: Nice rooms & bathroom & overall quite clean. Lots of stuff to do in SPA area but you must be fully naked for everything (except the pools). We only used the swimming pools, one is lukewarm, and the other is a hot outdoor pool.

Cons: Some staff are kinda weird & not polite. Unhappy with their job type of vibes. But some are really nice!

Pros: The rooms were clean upon arrival, breakfast was good. Hotel is walking distance to central Cologne (15-20 minutes walk to Cathedral).

Cons: We chose this hotel as it had a swimming pool and we have two children who love swimming. Upon arrival we were informed that the spa area is for people over 12 years as it is a fully nude area. This was news to us and was not made clear upon booking. After scrutinising my booking, I found the information but it should have been made much clearer prior to booking. We feel we paid a premium for a hotel with a pool we couldn't use and could have got a much better deal had we known this. Also, as we couldn't walk through the spa which takes up the full central area of the hotel so we had to walk round the block to get to our hotel room. It isn't far but is an inconvenience, so if you go to breakfast or for a drink at the bar you have to walk back to your room outside through an alternative entrance. Also, beware the dog poo! The pavements around the hotel is covered in it and my son walked through some on arrival which wasn't ideal when arriving in our room. This is not the hotel's fault but at night when walking back to the room after a drink in the bar, we all had to look down at the pavement to avoid it. Grim. The bar is a bit soulless and has spa guests wondering around in towels which is a bit off-putting knowing they are nude underneath. We sat and had a drink in the sofa area which weirdly has an open gym opposite it so we had the pleasure (!) of watching people have a sweaty work out right in front of us at 9.30pm at night. It is a very bizarre layout throughout. The staff are curt and will not do anything other than the bare minimum to assist you. Finally the rooms do not get cleaned unless you ask for it which is not explained upon check in. Another annoyance after the dog poo incident!

Cons: Staff on our carnival was very rude, they barely acknowledged our presence, didn't give us the right information, rooms doesn't get cleaned unless you ask for it. Here's my mistake I didn't read the reviews and the pool and spa are indeed naked. Gave my teenage daughter a small trauma.
