Pros: Manor hotel closed and did not accept us. Transferred us to another hotel a further walk from our venue. The whole reason we vhose The Manor. Dont know why they are closed .

Convenient location but nightmarish access, don't bring your car!
Pros: 300 metres from St Vincent Hospital n Darlinghurstwhere one of us was hospitalized for a few days. Interesting old world rooms and environment. Little fountain and leafy front garden arrangement by the entrance :)
Cons: The indifference of management to serious parking and access problems confronting guests staying in the hotel, to the extreme inconvenience of out of town guests! Obviously this is not the responsibility of the poor staff just working there who were all pleasant enough, but who were left with the lame excuse: "Oh, parking is on a first come first served basis". Four (4) in-line spots in the alleyway adjacent to the hotel is just insufficient and creates a problem in itself trying to get out of the place. They would be better off saying they have no parking at all, and trying to find an off-site solution nearby. But as noted, management and owners really just don't care. Totally at odds with any concept of "hospitality" associated with being a hotel!
A welcome feature of any hotel, even if no formal dining room exists, is the availability of breakfast facilities in some form, but not at this hotel. The ground level courtyard with adjacent seating and lounge area, including toilets, would be ideal for this purpose. At the moment the area lies derelict and unused. There is a sign in the room about a food and grocery delivery service.
Some holes in landing carpet (wear and tear
Clogged bathroom and aircon filters.
Overnight droning noise from nearby outside air conditioning unit. Turns off at 7.00am.
No serviceable working surface in room. Flip-out section of existing table could not be secured.
Bar Fridge turned off: Noisy with vibration when running. Ridiculously expensive small selection of snacks and bottles of water.
Miserable little flat Kogan TV!!! Batteries of remote depleted, signal delivered just via aerial only: no cable or Foxtel TV.
Conclusion: not a modern equipped hotel, in spite of interesting boutique features.
Very confusing outside signage, trying and succeeding to be cute but did not identify the place as a hotel!
