Great area, terrible parking, leisure facilities not up to scratch.

Pros: The room was great the beds were comfortable although the duvet got very hot at night. The location was ideal with only a short walk down past the river to the shops. The staff for the most part were very nice. We went down to the hotel bar one of the nights and the female bartender (Unfortunately didn't get her name) was lovely, she was out of one ingredient to make a certain cocktail but made a substitute and the drink was even better than what I had originally ordered. She was very knowledgeable about both the area and her job. Out of the window in our room, we had a nice view of the city.

Cons: We booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, although the pool was at least half blocked off for lessons which meant you couldn't swim freely. This was quite disappointing as it was the whole reason we booked this hotel. The jacuzzi was also out of order. Something that was also not mentioned prior was that you needed to bring your own lock for the lockers, luckily we could borrow one from reception for the first day but we then had to buy our own. Another con was the bathroom, I have some mobility issues and the showers are bath/showers, you have to step into the bath which was helped by the handrail but the bottom of the bath has this huge concave, and there is a very tiny flat area at the bottom of the bath which means you cannot stand with your feet flat, you have to stand with your feet at a weird angle due to the edges of the bath. This caused a lot of pain and was uncomfortable for both me and my partner who does not have any mobility issues. The showerhead was not removable from the wall and the water pressure was not great. Unfortunately, there were no accessible rooms available during our stay. Finally, regarding the parking, there are about 23 free parking spaces outside the hotel, otherwise, you must pay for parking in a nearby lot which is 28 for 48 hours. The tradesmen working in the area or in the hotel, parked in the hotel parking, which for the majority of our stay took up at least 4 spaces, and every day they would be parked in the disability parking with no permit which was not on at all.

Cons: Breakfast was a buffet and was there for ages so was rubbery. Limited parking. Website says you can order breakfast to the room but you can't. Room was freezing.
