Pros: Location , decor of hotel, staff friendly.

Cons: Did not get a good night sleep ,the pillows are needing replaced two pillows into one pillowcase lumpy and hard , could not use the second pillow as it was then too high . Apart from that it was a good stay

Lovely little lodge on the edge of the forest.

Pros: Lovely little lodge, very clean. Kitchen had everything you would need and it heated up so quickly and was so cosy. It was really nice to have so much space just for the 2 of us (2 bed lodge). Lovely walk right outside the lodge in really pretty woods and the placement of them was good to ensure privacy from other lodges even though they are close to each other.

Cons: The mattresses in the bedroom were definitely ready to be replaced as were the pillows so not the best nights sleep. We put the spare duvets from the second bedroom on top of the mattress, which helped a bit.

Cons: Water from the taps was very hot -suggest some signage warning people of hot water. Also the decking was a bit slippery when wet (from rain) so suggest some warning to beware of slipping

Pros: Good stopover hotel when passing through the area.

Cons: The restaurant was closed on the evening when I last stayed so I had to drive to find my dinner. But the hotel was very helpful in making a reservation.

Great hotel and beautiful location

Pros: The staff and service was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is beautiful. We had a fab walk around the loch which is stunning at this time of year. When we had no other option but to get our feet really wet by going through a deep puddle (we visited just after Storm Babet) the lovely women on reception took our boots to their drying room which was much appreciated!

Cons: Our bed was too firm for our liking but we appreciate some people may prefer that.

Pros: Well located near Crathie/ Balmoral and Ballater. Huge dinner and Bfast friendly helpful staff.after weeks of travelling we were able to do our washing
