Cons: We stayed with three kids for one night. I requested a room on a higher floor with lake view. When checking in I mentioned it again, but the received room was very disappointing. Lower floor and view to parking-lot. After complaining we got a nicer room. Overall the check-in procedure lasted two hours. Really annoying. We asked two times for blankets for the sofa-bed. Besides, I would have expected them to be ready upon arrival. Another disappointment was the so called sauna. It was a steam room which didn't even work. And the changing room did not meet any hygiene standard.

Pros: Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. It felt like a home away from home. Love that the suit was equipped with full kitchen stocked with cookwear and utensils so we could prepare our own meals. The area is quiet and peaceful.

Cons: The check-in process had a long line. As everyone was checking in for 4pm. Would be nice to have a staggered check ins

Pros: Great location. The service just amazing. Room clean and spacious with a impressive view. Walking beside the docking area was so relaxing. Pool,hot tub and outdoor jacuzzi.

A Dream Staycation for 2...

Pros: We were celebrating my sister's 75th birthday and from the very start at the Reception Desk, we were treated like royalty! Hannah provided all sorts of information and made us feel very welcome! We had one of the one-bedroom suites which was immaculate, well stocked, spacious and comfy. We ate a delicious meal at the Lakeside Grille and once again the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, complete with a complimentary birthday dessert and candle! We especially liked their new coffee machine in the main lounge area which is available in the mornings for any type of coffee you could imagine! The resort is right beside the lake but not congested like the ski village area so you can easily step outside the building and take a relaxing walk in a very serene area of town, and yet the grocery stores, liquor stores, cafes, etc are all within a 5 minute drive of the hotel! It is a short drive to the Blue Mountain Village and 9 minutes to the Scandinavian Spa. For us, it was a fabulous 2 night adventure and everyone of the other guests we met seemed to be very happy to be at this amazing resort!!

Cons: While we were extremely impressed with the facilities and staff, we do have 2 suggestions: 1) we found the oven a bit too complicated, so an instruction sheet would be helpful. 2) the only other petty complaint we can think of is that the wonderful new coffee machine in the lobby is only available for a couple of hours a day, I think from 6- 8:00/8:30 am. This is a tad too early for those of us on vacation and especially those of us in our senior years, so our suggestion is to extend the hours until 10 am and then re-offer it again in the afternoon, say 3 - 5pm. Future guests will really appreciate the gesture, especially during the cold winter months!
