Pros: friendly staff, nice place

Understaffed and Mia managed house keeping and maintenance. Probably because of the shortage of stuff.

Pros: The staff and the size of their standard rooms, and were also decent.

Cons: I arrive there at 4 AM on the 20th and left at around 4 AM on the 21st almost exactly 24 hours, and they charge me approximately 400+ euros. For two complete days. The gentleman at the front desk, voluntarily offered a 20+ euro discount, and was very friendly. However, I feel cheated for a lack of a better word. THE REASON BEING THIS: In the past 15 months I have spent at least 20 days at your establishment. My entire family books for rooms for half the month of July last summer. I have lunch and meetings there on a regular basis points being I am a good customer at a hotel and establishments which has customer satisfaction and customer service for this business values. Just save business not only did not reward me any kind of discount for my loyalty, but on my previous day, gave me a suite with a leaking ceiling. A leak that had a sound so bad. I left the hotel at 2am. On that trip not only did they not give me a discount for the Chinese torture in there sweet but did not even allow me to have a late check o Like a fool I decided to go there and give him another chance . They charge me $180 for my first four hours. And $220 for the next 24. Again, no problem its not about the money. But when I come to sleep at 2 AM to find out that theres a puddle of water in my bed. That couldve been anything from your end to washing detergent. .. angry and disgusted I left the hotel again this time at 4 AM. With no apology no discounts. My point is the staff incredibly friendly, but incredibly understaffed and overworked. Eventually leave my stuff fatigue. And finally leaking roofs & soaking beds. No refunds no discounts.

Great few days away in the Lisbon Marriot

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, excellent service. Breakfast was fabulous and room was warm and comfortable.

Cons: It was a five star service from a four star hotel. There was really nothing that we didn't like.

Nice and comfy hotel.

Cons: The glass that protects the bathroom from getting wet. But its too small. Its better to be a slid door.

Cons: There were major construction going on, they didnt tell while checking in. Also they offered and charged for upgrades at least they should have complement that for inconvenience. Moreover I got stuck in one of the lift due to malfunction for few minutes which is not bad but they continue to operate them without disabling the same, which to me is not good.

Pros: Some staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, etc. Especially those who work in the lobby bar. Room is basic, but comfortable.

Cons: Some staff were lovely, but others were terrible both in terms of customer service/basic politeness to understanding their job or customer needs. I mean, really basic stuff. Needs basic training from reception, housekeeping, room service, etc. Really surprised with this service from the Marriot brand. I used to work in sector and done those jobs and generally very sympathetic to service staff. But some of it was shocking. Room service and basic amenities are overpriced.

Cons: Receptionist rudeness. Was told to come to reception urgently at 21:45 because of a credit card problem. Called reception and asked them what tge problem was The lady spoke in Spanish for at least 3 mins before i could tell her i did not speak Spanish and she could speak to me in Portuguese. I was told by her to come to reception asap as there was a problem with my card. I had paid 30 in the case of ordering anything or having breakfast and the card had gone through.i asked her if this could not be done in the morning when I checked out to which she replied "NO IT HAD TO BE DONE TONIGHT" I had just gotten out of the shower and was ready to hp to bed asci was catching a flight the following morning to the USA. I went down to reception almost 11pm to find out what the problem was and the receptionist told me I had spent an extra 6 on a meal I had ordered to the room. She then durther told me to pay in another 60 in case i would have breakfast. I did so and the card went through with no problem at all. She said that I woukd receive a refund should there be no other charges. At the same time she asked me for my room card as it had to be remagnetised.I was totally lvid at this point. They had my credit card details and made me come to reception for 6. In the morning at 8:30 am i had a cleaning lady lnocking at my door to ask me when i was Leaving. I told her i had to 11am to vacate tbe room. I then left the room and headed to reception to checkout and asked for their "Livro de Reclamaes " Upon asking for this book the receptionist called a lady by the name of Margarida Cruz. She came to me and i explained what had happened and she apologized saying that they would need to train their staff and furthering offering me a 20% discount and that i would get a refund in my account of the balance i had not spent. I told her i was not there for the discount but that the way ibeas treated was unacceptable.
