Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. When I called for extra towels we had them in less than five minutes. We were within walking distance of most places and the parking garage was directly behind the hotel.

Cons: We booked the deluxe king suite. It had a king bed and sofa sleeper. It was supposed to accommodate four people. The sofa bed was only a twin sized bed and we had to make a bed for the kids on the floor.

Pros: The room and the beds where pretty nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean.

Cons: What we didn’t like so much was the breakfast. Firstly it didn’t have many options and you needed a “breakfast ticket” to get served the good stuff and even then you got very small proportions. Also the breakfast room was really small, at all times crowded and the food was rarely refilled after it was over.

Pros: Proximity to the Willis tower.

Cons: The rooms were never cleaned during our five day stay. I understand most places cleaning policies have changed since Covid but five days is outrageous. On day three we did have a maid stop by who said they were too short staffed to clean the room and just provided us with towels. Also, parking is very inconvenient which I figured it would be for a big city. However, there is a garage located next-door that you can utilize for $60 per night. Despite paying for two nights of parking, the staff member only created my electronic QR code for one night of parking meaning when I went back to the parking garage, I had to call for assistance, move my car, then walk to the hotel to have a new QR code created, which was very inconvenient.also, the free breakfast is out of control. They are severely understaffed in this area. If you were thinking about staying here to save a few dollars, please pay the extra and go somewhere else for the convenience and comfort. Also, the biggest issue was the key cards to the room. They often go out and youll have to go down and get your key card reactivated we had to do this approximately six times at least during our weeklong stay.we were staying on the top floor which is the ninth floor. Meaning, when our key card went out, we couldnt access the elevator so we went down the nine flights of stairs out the door and into the lobby to have a new card created or activated every time which was highly inconvenient. They said they are getting a new system in eight weeks. So if you do want to stay here, I would at least make sure its after the next eight weeks.

The hotel was located in a wonderful area. Everything was beautiful, staff was friendly. It was a wonderful experience.

Pros: The room was large, with all facilities needed provided. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet and clean. Coffee making facilities appreciated. The breakfast available was substantial and popular. Location was important, being within walking distance of Union Station and within the Chicago downtown area. The hotel served my needs very well.

Cons: No issues to comment on. All was good.
