Kame Hall Reviews Summary

    Good

Wry good location and clean room. Perfect base to explore beautiful Rome

Pros: The location was perfect. Close enough to everything yet far enough away that the local eating places were reasonably priced
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable , we both ached a lot. There was not enough hanging space for clothing also no iron. A coffee machine would be nice.

    Very Good

    Very good

Pros: The location is fantastic, the room big and very nice, and the bed and pillows comfortable. Definitely a luxury feeling.
Cons: Breakfast was served in the room, which was nice, but not on par with the room (and the price). Cheap bread, toasted on one side only, with basic butter and jam from supermarket , etc.. I would also have preferred having someone at reception, or some basic welcome information such as what is in the neighborhood, what is the property able to arrange/offer, etc. We only got shown the room after someone opened the door remotely, and that's it. For the price and the quality of the room, we would have expected at least an A4 sheet of paper with a welcome and some info.

    Wonderful

Confortable room on the heart of the city, with great vaule for money.

Pros: Rooms where recently renovated with good sound inulation from street noise. Very spacious for european standards with good room design also. Very conmfy bed.
Cons: When we arrived to the hotel door was closed. We had to call the staff so they can open the door remotly. I hope we could have been informed ahead of time about this process.

    Wonderful

Great value for money in a great location as a base to tour Rome.

Pros: The location was excellent and an easy walk to the venue of the conference I was attending. The room was spacious and well facilitated. Clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom. The staff was friendly and clear on what the rules of the house were. Very friendly and available to help.
Cons: A very average breakfast. But one is in Rome so many places to eat to compensate for this.

    Hidden gem apartment in Rome

Pros: Clean and modern apartment with a lovely big bed and huge bathroom with double sink and shower! The apartment is well located for tourist sites but feels like its in a quieter area of the city, really enjoyed sitting in the piazza matteo for drinks in the evening. We were happy to be able to leave our bags with reception for a few hours after we checked out.
Cons: The breakfast was a little bit basic in terms of the options but still enjoyed.

    Pleasant

Clean, well-located bed/bathroom but nothing more

Pros: Well-located if not very clearly marked (my taxi passed it twice). The room was very clean and relatively spacious and the bed was comfortable. Quiet at night.
Cons: When I booked I had thought this was a boutique hotel. Instead it is run like an AirBnBa few renovated rooms in downtown Rome in which there is no onsite manager after 1pm. Standard hotel check-ins begin at 3pm, so this was a surprise. I only learned of this the day before my arrival when a form message was sent to me via Booking.com. I was only in Rome for one night after a two-week trip through Italy with friends, and I had booked this place as a treat to myself before going home. However, according to the message, I had to call a cell phone on arrival to be buzzed in remotely. I responded in the chat and also in a text to the provided WhatsApp number about my 6pm arrival but I never received a response to either message. I called on arrival and the person took a long time to answer and sounded like I was interrupting her. When I finally pushed my way into the tiny, cumbersome door with four suitcases, I was met by a long staircase and no one to help with my luggage. A card key with my name was left in a small, deserted waiting room, and I showed myself to my room. It wasnt explained to me that the card key was also my access to the building, and I couldnt see the outside keypad without leaving the building, so I had to call the annoyed woman again to get guidance. The steep fare for the night included breakfastwhich the form message said would be brought to my room earlier than normal if I wantedso when I replied both in the Booking chat and in a text to the provided WhatsApp number that I would be leaving at 7am for the airport, I had expected someone would leave me at least some bread, but I got nothing. Instead of a cozy stay at a boutique hotel with breakfast to go, I had in essence bought a bed and bathroom for the night. I did not see a single soul while I was there. I received a WhatsApp message asking me to leave the city tax in cash in my room before leaving. I received better hospitality at hostels in my 20s.

    Really great place to stay

Pros: The maid that works there made our stay the best it could be! She was excellent and so nice
Cons: The only reason I didnt give the stay a 10 was the bed and the pillows.they were not the most comfortable Ive slept on
