Pros: All staff was very friendly, hotel was extremely clean, and the location was perfect to explore downtown Chicago with children. The pool was beautiful.

Cons: The pool could use more seating, it was crowded… but it’s expected in Chicago. The pool is very large.

No Heat. No Shower. No...

Pros: The maintenance guy who fixed out heat was kind and the cleaning staff does a good job. Room was dated but clean. The pool is beautiful but overcrowded.

Cons: We have stayed here in the past and loved their pool. Our daughter is a big fan of swimming and wanted to return for her birthday. We were thrilled with our stay in 2023 and our 2024 visit was horrible. Here are a few highlights: 1 - UPGRADES. The hotel offered an upgraded room. We accepted via email within minutes of the offer. When we arrived, they said it wasn’t available due to weddings. (How many weddings book within a week of a stay?) The woman at the front desk was just like, “Talk to my manager if that’s an issue.” We just told her that we don’t expect her to kick people out of their rooms and we’d stay with our original room. They shouldn’t have offered an upgrade if they can’t deliver. 2 - ROOM SIZE. The rooms are small. Two full beds. No room for anything and everything is dated. 3 - HEAT WAS NOT WORKING. The room was cold. We turned up the heat and thought it would kick in. We went to bed bundled up. The next morning, it was 64 degrees in the room. (This is February in Chicago). We called and maintenance had to climb into the ceiling to fix the heat. 4 - SHOWER BROKEN. The push button to the shower was gone. It was sitting next to the shower and wouldn’t work when inserted. We had to wash our hair in the faucet. 5 - REPAIR NEEEDED. We woke up at dawn on checkout day just to get out. As we were leaving, there was water bulging on the wall, under the wallpaper. The whole experience was a nightmare. We used to love this hotel. There was no customer service and the room wasn’t functional. There are other hotels in Chicago at this price point with better service and accommodations.

Pros: Location is fantastic - on the Magnificent Mile, walking distance to everything, easy to get all over the city. Great dining all around as well as a robust grocery store around the corner. Spacious rooms, and the pool and gym are fantastic.

Pros: Perfect location. Beautiful and clean. Pool area was very nice. Movie night was a huge hit for my kids.

Cons: The room was very small. Could only fit two full sized beds not even queens. No other place to sit other than the beds and no microwave in hotel for guests to use. Fridge was very small too.

Pros: Indoor poor is gorgeous and location was easy to get to and around from. In-room dining was fast and the food was good.

Cons: Buffet breakfast was a little sad looking. Stayed in a double-bed room, but only one robe was provided.

Beautiful hotel, great location, really...

Pros: Fantastic location right on Michigan Avenue. Staff was fantastic and the room is very clean. The pool area is absolutely beautiful. We wanted to take our seven year old because she loves to swim in the pool did not disappoint.

Cons: Bed was a little firm for my liking. The only kind of complaint about anything was the sheer inner blind was broken so you couldn’t open it and enjoy the view.
