    Good Place for A Cheap short stay

    Pros: I stayed one night I was on vacation in Switzerland had a flight home from Paris the next day I took the train up from Mulhouse and I needed a cheap place to sleep for the night. it was fine for that ... check in staff spoke minimal english but were friendly enough Check in was very quick despite a language barrier and room and bed were clean and comfortable and had a window which opened to let in air there was Strong WIFI and late check out time compared to other hotels (11am-noon ) which was great for me. its an easy 2 minute walk from the RER train station.
    Cons: This is a BUDGET hotel .. you get what you pay for .. the paint in the hotel is worn and damaged some of the lights in the room did not work. and the TV did not work either. but I am not going to blame that on anyone as I never told the staff about it and they very well might have switched me to a new room had i brought it to their attention but I chose not to say anything so thats on me. Keep in mind this hotel is NOT in a touristic area its a suburb thats a 30 minute train ride from downtown Paris and the neighborhood is rough and very run down one of the worst i've seen in western Europe. also most of the residents in Grigny are African french or Arabic speaking foreigners. I don't speak french and English is non-existent here even the hotel staff did not speak english well and when telling me the price had to write it down and show it to me. also I paid cash and the total ended up being 2 or 3 more euros than what i had made the reservation for. I didn't bring it up due to the language barrier and the small amount but something to be aware of

    Pros: Not much, other than cheap price
    Cons: Cockroaches in bathroom, moved to different room where heater fell off the wall (didn't touch it) and lights randomly flickered (while off!). Stayed in better Ibis Budget hotels before, this one is very run down.

    Avoid. Pay more and go somewhere else.

    Pros: It had a bed to sleep in.
    Cons: It was in a really bad location, it was like the slums, people everywhere. Really dirty outside and homeless people everywhere. Did not feel safe and constantly going to check on our car. The hotel right next door looked like it was re purposed as a homeless shelter - it definitely looked and smelt like it. Room was dirty and the floor and walls and radiator had burn marks in them all, not a nice place to stay. We had 4x more ibis booked for the rest of our road trip and we cancelled them all and paid a little bit more for better hotels. (One was 10 more and it was amazing). Avoid this hotel.

    Pros: The female receptionist did not understand English at all and could not give any help information. The room light did not work and waited over mid night then got solved problem. Next day pick up luggage the staff did not on duty, the taxi drive had to call her.
