Great beach hotel with some deficiencies

Pros: Probably the best location one can find on Fuerteventura with a great beach in front of the hotel and a perfect view of the ocean. Staff very nice and helpful, doing their best. The food was really great, all inclusive option has a very decent selection of alcohols.

Cons: Dirty glasses and plates! That's really a no-go in a 5 star hotel! Too small restaurant, so we were waiting for a table, especially at dinner time.

Cons: Room service is on payment even if you are all inclusive. Cost is 7 euros per service. No dental kit is provided(given after upon request) No slippers were provided(given after upon request) Star prestige lounge is useless. It is poorly equipped (no plates, no fruit slices for cocktails, no boiler or coffee machine, no table games). Resort has group sport activities but no recreational room or games or sport area(except the net for beach volley at the beach). Live music sometime good sometime not There are always problems opening doors with magnetic cards. Snacks in the minibar are on payment,even if you are all inclusive Beach umbrella and beach chairs are not included Spa access on payment and very lonely. No jacuzi. Only poor water jets with no sitting. No tea. No relaxing music. No turkish bath. Wifi is not stable. Star prestige restaurant area has no air conditioning, so basically is not convenient to sit there. Differently from the other resorts nearby has no tennis court or soccer or bowling

Pros: Personnel is very pleasant, location - beach is perfect, nice concerts in hotel at the evening, food is delicious and different on particular days, like sushi day, pizza day, seafood. Room is very spacious and comfortable, personnel is very attentive to the needs. Sometimes surprize with gift. In Morro Jable town there are nice restaurants, but there are almost nothing at the hotel place, so you need to walk to the city or the enjoy nice food at hotel restaurant, glad it was really good and possible to try something local.

Cons: Since I took half board meal (breakfast and dinner) it would be lovely to have free coffee & snacks at room, instead of paid. Since it's five star hotel. However no complains, just a suggestion.

Pros: Great hotel and amazing location in the south coast of the Island. Great food and amazing shows during the evening, as well as activities such as salsa classes, aquagym etc.

Cons: The hotel could be more proactive in advising guests on activities around the island and recommended places to visit.

Cons: * doors to the room not working, the handle needs to be moved in a special way * no heating * breakfast/dining are super packed * terrible desserts * called to reception multiple times, no answer, finally rather rudely told that they can't speak to me at that moment * SPA area is a tiny pool, sauna and a broken steam room, not even a jacuzzi * outdoor pool very small and pool area completely packed * for double rooms seems that the view is either facing north and a parking lot, or facing west and a very noisy highway

Pros: location to the beach. prestige level was paramount

Cons: only one main restaurant. needs another one. the gym was poor. tired and in need of repair the cv equipment. no one to ask there. mats dirty. air conditioning didnt work either. only one entry to the spa FOC. think two visits should be permitted if you are paying a premium price for the hotel.

Cons: Room service a bit irregular, refilling of the minibar was missed some days (no milk and no water some days). Also they didn't check the shampoo and shower gel levels so we run out of these (we could not easily see the levels ourselves and they were kind of fixed to the dispenser) obviously we ran out in the middle of having a shower and it took them half an hour to bring new ones). Just a small incident during dinner with a cook that appeared not to care for the forms of talking to customers, it was reported at the spot. Honestly those were only minor issues, just to state the very minor negative aspects of our two weeks in the hotel. Overall amazingly positive!

Pros: We stayed at the Iberostar Selection Ferteventura Palace resort at the turn of January and February 2023. From the welcome, throughout the stay, to check-out and a special farewell, we felt like real guests here; friendly managers, receptionists (special bows to Nadja and Julia, who always helped us), pool service and all other staff, friendly animators, made sure that our stay was unforgettable; It is a facility that deserves its category - 5 stars; the rooms are very spacious, clean, with dominant white and in our case, a fantastic view of the ocean and a phenomenal sunrise. The food is very varied, to our taste, the all inclusive option, in the full sense of the word, without any reservations. Animations, discreet, unobtrusive, Both beaches - Jandia, "wild" in its own way, very wide, allowing endless walks, and Gaviotas with its rock formations, allowed for captivating photo sessions. We recommend staying at this facility to all lovers of the beautiful beaches of Fuerteventura.

Excellent hotel but one issue

Pros: Only negative really was room first one noisy near road second one near toilet so noisy with cleaners from 7 AM..but very good hotel and restaurant very good..Japanese restaurant was excellent...

Pros: The welcome on reception was lovely. Very friendly staff in the restaurant and Veronica in the pool bar was so friendly, helpful and always had a smile and welcome for us. Our room was spacious and very clean. Special thanks for whoever cleaned and turned down our room, always looked lovely. Great selection of wines and spirits during dinner.

Cons: This is our second time at the hotel. This time we found the pool area really busy, slightly on top of each other. And the main bar for pre dinner drinks was understaffed. We normally arrived at the bar for around 6.45pm, after the main rush. However, there didn't seem as many staff as last year, and after waiting over 10 mins each evening, my husband walked to the bar to order, which one staff member took a dislike to and was slightly rood in his manner. Not what we have ever witnessed before or want to again.

Pros: proximity to the sea, plenty of sport courses, nice spa (albeit not free)

Cons: iberostar have a system called star prestige which basically gave some benefits to the 10% of clients paying a huge premium. All the nice features are reserved to these clients : table with see view at the restaurant, best rooms, private spaces As a consequence, for the 90% (like me) remaining clients, the experience is definitely not a 5 stars one. Our room had a view on a very noisy road forget about the see..
