Dreamy, stylish hotel made for...

Pros: Loved the staff being so kind and responsive and the awesome gym with Peloton bikes. Plus we got an upgrade with a room with a great view

Cons: I was cold at night and there were no extra blankets

Cons: The restaurants and the one bar on site opened too late and closed way too early. When it was opened it was way under staffed. Hairdryer also did not work.

Cons: We came in one evening after having to walk a block in the rain soaking wet. We called to front desk to have some fresh towels delivered to our room to dry ourselves. They never came. We called again after about 30 minutes and the person said they would put in a call to send some up. Never came.

Pros: Just across the beach which is really nice, but road was quite busy with traffic. Could easily walk to center of town

Cons: The rooms were terrible - it didn't reach our expectation at all. Not sure what Hyatt name sits... The restaurant menu was not that great but the staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought the daily parking fee was quite high.

Cons: The shower was very low pressure lots of calcium, the bed sheets didn’t fit the bed so they would come off when we laid or slept, the phone didn’t work at all.

Pros: Location was good. Access to the beach was easy. The views in the morning and throughout the day were especially beautiful. Pool bar was nice.

Cons: Pool heater wasn’t working during our stay. I asked the host during check-in if the pool was heated and she said yes with no indication that there was a problem. Maybe she didn’t know about the heater, but it was pretty disappointing for my family. We were considering cancelling our reservation the week prior due to the weather but decided that it would be nice to spend time at the pool (assuming it was heated). There were two other families at the pool who were similarly disappointed. Thank goodness for the hotel bar. The room was pretty dated. I’ve stayed at Hyatts before and just expected the room to be recently updated based on prior experiences. Although the room was clean, it didn’t feel that clean because the finishes felt old. We stayed 2 nights and during both nights there were loud engine-like sounds off and on throughout the evening. I’m not sure if we were located above the laundry room, or maybe the sounds were coming from outside, but it caused me to wake up a few times during the night. On the first day, it was busy during dinnertime. My husband called the valet to request our car, but the valet apparently forgot about the request. We were waiting in the lobby area for about 20-25 minutes. It wasn’t until we realized that the attendants weren’t actively receiving or retrieving cars that we followed up on our request. We’re normally pretty flexible with these types of things, but it’s not easy to be accommodating with a young child in tow.

Pros: The location was beautiful, right on the beach.

Cons: We didn’t get to stay on the main property; our room was in a smaller building across the street, behind the main hotel buildings. I would still stay again, making sure to request the main property in advance.

Pros: We loved the decor and the location. The staff was pleasant, but couldn't deliver when it needed.

Cons: There was no fan or heater in the bathrooms. The room only had decaf coffee as an option. We asked the room service several times for a cappuccino, but it never came. We ended up going to Starbucks. A hot tub would be nice for the price we were paying. We didn't like the bartender at the Cafe not telling us that a 20% gratuity was automatically embedded in the bill and not giving us an itemized version on the bill. 20% is too much. We won't be coming back.
