Pros: The area is nice and quiet and close to huka falls.

Cons: This was not the room I had booked. My friend and I arrived at 6:30pm to find an envelope stuck to the front window with our key and directions to our room. I requested to pay at the property and in the envelope they stated that they had tried to process the payment but luckily for us it hadn't gone through. We got to our room and realized they had put us in a studio unit instead of the one bedroom villa that I had booked. I rung reception and spoke to Casey and told her the issue. She told me that it was booking.coms fault and that the booking had come through as the studio unit. I rung booking.com and informed them of what had happened. They tried to ring the property 3 times and they never answered. The next morning I went to reception and spoke to Casey. She assured me that booking.com had put the booking through as a studio (I went back into my booking.com account and showed her that we hadn't). There was no discount offered until we said we weren't happy to pay the full amount. Casey then gave us a $38 discount. They had emailed us 3 days before hand asking which bed size we would like which I emailed them saying we need two beds. When we got there, there was only 1 king bed for us. We mentioned this the next morning and Casey said she would rectify this but we refused as we didn't want anyone in the room. It seemed clean except for the mould I found on the back of my pillow, the old milk in the fridge that had been left for us. The room was quite cold, even with the heat pump running constantly. The property asked that we leave the temperature at 27C which we did. Maybe they need a service? The TV was in the most unconventional place. I don't see how anyone could watch it where it was placed. We could also clearly hear our neighbour's having a conversation at 6am.

Pros: Spacious unit with a family size feel to it. Great spa bath and bathroom. Close to huka falls for viewing on the way north.
