    Air con not working properly

    Pros: The villa is very beautiful, it had lovely gardens, a great swimming pool and the staff were very friendly.
    Cons: Sadly our air conditioner did not work properly so it was quite hot both nights. We mentioned the problem on the first night and were given a fan but it was still quite warm as we were in the top floor and we had to sleep without bedsheets due to the warmth. Unfortunately this meant we ended up with a lot of mosquito bites, even with deet on. We were hoping for a relaxing 2 final nights sleep but got the opposite and spoilt what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay. I wouldnt recommend staying here if you need aircon that works well. Sadly our room didnt look as nice as the ones on the website.

    We would love to visit Hotel Villa Maremonti again, excellent service and great attention to detail.

    Pros: The service and customer care was excellent. The standard of the food, pool and rooms were very, very good. The location is perfect for visiting Cinque Terre and also Pisa, Lucca and other Tuscan towns. The proximity of the hotel to the beach is an added bonus.

    Charming hotel its like stepping back in time.

    Pros: The breakfast was wonderful the location was beautiful but the staff was the really spectacular part of our stay they were so attentive and kind did everything to make our stay perfect I had a birthday and so did my granddaughter during our stay and we were greeted with a pastry with a candle first thing that morning cant say entgood things about the staff and the hotel!
    Cons: The mosquitoes!! We only ate dinner at the hotel one night because we were getting too many mosquitoe bites. Mosquitoes can carry lots of diseases so its really a health concern

    Pros: wonderful hotel. Staff are exceptional. You are treated as one of the family. Food is superb and the service is 5*!
    Cons: The rooms are charming but need a little updating in places.

    Pleasent stay at Villa Maremonti

    Pros: Hotel designed with taste, nice dining area, good quality of food (dinner menu changes every 2 days except desserts), big choice for breakfast, though it didn't change during the 10 days we were there. Nice pool area. The beach is just across the streat and it's a nice beach (not owned by the hotel). Personnel very kind.
    Cons: Charged 50 euros extra per night for the child (4 years) though there was no change in room or in the room. The sole additional cost the hotel incurred for the child was the breakfas he ate, but that would be too much for a breakfast. Though dining area was nice, it was next to the main street so noisy at moments. With a small child we were not at ease because there were 4 entrances open all the time that go out directly to the street (the main street in town). Beach is not free, need to pay at least 30 euros for an umbrella and 2 chairs.
