Cant wait to come back to this charming hotel!

Pros: The hotel was in a great location and the staff was fantastic! Loved the breakfast! Rooms were spacious and comfy and surprisingly quiet even being right off the road. Within walking distance of everything! Loved it! Highly recommend!

Amazing service and location

Pros: Great location!! The hotel is in the middle of everything. Safe and nice neighborhood. We weren't aware of the breakfast service and it turned out amazing. Great selection and a tasty start to the morning. We would definitely stay again. In addition, the top floor of the hotel offers an amazing view of the city and it's open for all customers.

Cons: There was really nothing downside for us.

Disappointing

Pros: The tower is very nice and the building has a very nice historical touch. The breakfast also was very good with plenty of alternatives. The location is as good as it gets.

Cons: The room we were given had little access to the daylight making the room very very dark. I have asked for a change unfortunately they have not helped us. The reason I wanted the change was mostly because I have specifically required for the room I had chosen where my 5 year old twins could sleep in a bed together. The answer I have got from the reception was: the photos are representatives and we are giving you four beds so it is accurate what you have signed up for. Was not happy how it was handled.

Great Experience & Location!

Pros: My favorite was the fresh-made cappuccino every morning! Great variety of pastries, juices and breads. Cereal, yogurts, cheeses, meats, eggs provided a great variety! My only suggestion, fresh fruit would have been a nice touch instead of canned peaches. There was a bowl of fruit available but no bananas, melons or berries offered during our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive! We stayed in the Jr Suite which was spacious with a full and 1/2 bath. Perfect for families. Plenty of extra pillows and bedding for a chilly night. Sitting area was noisy due to street activity and vendor carts early in the morning. Bedroom was away from street and quiet. Its an older building so dont expect upgraded windows, insulation or fancy tiles/marble. It was clean and staff very friendly. Location was undeniable the best! Central to everything we wanted to see!

Cons: Bed was a little too stiff for my liking and maybe an upgrade to the pillows for different support needs. Locking and unlocking the door with a key was a bit tricky and I had to ask for assistance. Six locks on the inside was interesting!

Excellent location & breakfast, shame the bad experience with reception is so negative.

Pros: The staff at breakfast were excellent, as was the food on offer. Lovely historical building with stunning views from the tower.

Cons: The man on reception on the Thursday was very unhelpful, could not even be bothered to supply replacement coffee sachets for the room so we had to purchase ourselves from a local shop. One of the bathrooms sinks was not fixed to the wall properly.

Pros: Liked the view from the tower and breakfast was very nice. Vivien the lady who was present at breakfast was very helpful and friendly.

Cons: Place could do with a little decorating in some areas. My room in the annexe was very noisy into the early hours so double glazing would be useful.

Pros: We loved everything about Hotel Torre Guelfa! We traveled as a family with a 5 year old and this hotel was perfect. The check in and check out process was easy and quick. The breakfast was amazing every morning. The staff was friendly and Vivian was so kind every morning. The location was better than we expected!! Everything was clean and great. The front desk is very helpful. They were able to assist in our taxi ride to the train station. My family highly recommends this place!

Cons: The wifi was very spotty. We didnt have full wifi in our room (4 out of 5 bars) and it would cut in and out. We were traveling from out of the country and rely on wifi so it became difficult at times with poor wifi. Additionally, I think having streaming service options on the tvs would be great! Like Netflix or Disney plus. The local tv channels were the only option on the tv. Just recommendations, overall everything was still great!

Pros: The tower was amazing, breakfast was lovely, location was central to all of our needs. Truly enjoyed the classic and funky decor!

Cons: Only thing I can think of is: I wish they explained that despite the listed hours for breakfast, you can only sit once. I had a cafe and a cornetto, went up to the tower afterward (intending to come down and continue my meal after) and was told by staff that I had already eaten once and could not eat again. Wasnt really a big issue but I wish I had known ahead of time.
