    Good hotel, but very quiet after 6pm. Hard to find restaurants after 6pm.

    Pros: Room size ok, day time walking distance to main shopping street, breakfast good.
    Cons: No bottle water given, nearby restaurants closed after 6pm, hard to find restaurants except there is Family Mart 200m away.

    Great place to stay for tourists to Otaru

    Pros: It was centrally located just on the main strip of Otaru in close proximity to the canal area. The rooms are decent size and the staff very helpful.
    Cons: Nothing not to dislike about the Torifito. Found it the perfect place when visiting Otaru.

    Great Hotel, Onsen otherwise..

    Pros: The staff were exceedingly pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were impeccably clean, with exceptional views..
    Cons: We went to onsen after dinner, it was pretty crowded and the bathhouse couldn't handle so many people at once. It took me 10 minutes to wait inside (it felt kind of awkward). I hope they had staff who could tell customers about the status of the bathhouse so this wouldn't happen again. Advise to get bigger room size, more comfortable.

    Have a nice stay here.

    Pros: I like the location, the breakfast, the public bath, the cleanliness, the laundry room and staff is also service minded.
    Cons: I don't like a bit about the size of my room. I stayed in a japanese style room which is very small that I couldn't put my 30" luggage in the room, but fortunately I booked 2 rooms for my family and another room is cornered room which is big enough to put all 4 luggages in the room. So I didn't have a problem staying. I really like japanese style room here.
